Uninstall progress report ...
I ran a scan of my system for "WebSite X5" ...
FIVE (5) MORE files located and removed. !!!
Should I provide "Incomedia" my Social Security Number to further remove their "EZ" (easy) program ???
I can provide my mother's maiden name if need be...
If they want my DNA, they can come to my house - since they required my address for registeration. LOL 8-)

Interesting experience....
Uninstalled with "ZSoft Uninstaller"... Complete ? No !
Removed "Incommedia WebSite X5" with Windows add/remove... Complete ? No !
Finished removing with "Advance Windows Care" ... Complete ? No !
Deleted desktop icon to recycle bin ... Complete ? Heck if I know ! Hope so ! Don't know where else it may be hiding !
This from a company that REQUIRED my name, full address, country AND PHONE NUMBER !
This "freebie" cost too much !
I trust GOTD to have higher standards in it's dealings in the future.

Good Morning!
I had no trouble installing or registering website X5, however I cannot launch the program.
When I click on the desktop shortcut my "Windows XP Media Center Edition" just boops and nothing else happens. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

What the "BLEEP" ???
Install a toolbar ? For WHAT reason ?
Justify WHY Incommedia requires so much personal information that GOTD does-NOT- require !
SEVEN (7) error messages....
Click "WebSite X5" desktop icon -- error installing "Netcraft TOOLBAR". It was not disclosed a TOOLBAR install was required.
GOTD - I am disappointed you allowed Incommedia to make such changes in policies & procedures.
Incommedia - You offer a 2 year old program for novice users - Yet it appears you are incapable of allowing a simpler download/activation/installiation. MUCH more complicated than any other company with GOTD to date. Much more personal information required than previous GOTD offers.
GOTD & Incommedia - You are both culpable for the frustration and wasted time with this offer. If you take an honest and objective review of todays comments and interactions it should be apparent the difficulties so many people (potential customers) experienced.
If I am not mistaken, there has been more interaction than any offer before. This obviously has been counter-productive because GOTD/Incommdeia could have been productive doing other things.
If my computer wasn't telling me today is Friday the 13th, I would swear this must be April 1st. !!!
BTW - I tried the tutorial at Incommedia's site. Looked interesting. The "back" buttons didnot work. Another example of programming expertise ???

Ciao Incommedia,

Thanks to your information I was able to verify that I indeed posses a full version of WSX5. This software is exceptional, but also very unconventional when it comes to the layouts of where normal menus like open and help and things like that are.

I should tell you that every time I install a program from the good guys at GAOTD or GGOTD I make sure that automatic updates are off. One of the license agreements from GAOTD is that updates of the software installed are not supported and any attempt to upgrade the program it will stop working.

Is the version we got going to upgrade itself and stop working unless we pay? Is there an option that we can set to prevent that?

Grazie,

-Paolo

I cannot launch the program. I receive a "Run-time error '7' - Out of Memory" when I try to run the program. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the program several times. I re-downloaded the program thinking the original was corrupted. Nothing works, I get the same error every time.

Need help. Would REALLY like to use this program.

Thanks,

stevedude

PS - Running Windows XP Pro, SP2. Pentium 4 CPU 3.06 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 1.5 GB RAM available memory. No other memory or system errors - just this program. I get the Website X5 splash screen then the error appears.

When you launch the software the splash box show you the version no. If it's a demo a 'Demo version' is also visible.
Moreover if it's the demo version, some message boxes alert you about that.

Any way to check if the installation was succesfull? I had to do many weird things like install the trial version and, being unable to uninstall it, I went to the regedit and deleted everything there about the program and erased the installation.

The program would still not install when given the code that came in the email, so I put back some of the register changes I made and the full version installation went through an the email code was accepted and all seems fine, but I can find no way to check that the version is the full one.

Ciao,
