I've been battling with a lost hard drive for a few days now! It just totally disappeared from "my computer" and everywhere else. It's dead! It was my large one for storing everything. Now to find out if it's still guaranteed! And a tip for y'all. It all started when I was going to d/l some program on here, and figured I'd better make a 'restore point' for "just in case". Well, this was the F: drive, so I figured I only was interested in a restore point on my C: drive, so I highlighted F: and then clicked 'remove'. Boy did I blow it! Now it's totally gone, dead, kaput. Earlier I swapped it with my C: drive to see if it works at all and do a diagnostic on it, but all I get is: "Drives 1-8 NO HD detected.
