I've got some great customizations on it that make my web experience great every time! As for Thunderbird, or other email clients - I prefer webmail. Too many chances for viruses and malware to infect your computer when you download and open emails, or even just delete them before opening. With webmail, everything stays on the server. It's just super!<br /> One of the best Add-ons to install is of course, Adblock Plus with which you can easily remove all ads you choose to. But you can also use it to see exactly which scripts any web page is loading and eventually block it.
