Nice one wizz; thanks for yet another great game. Will check it out later. I'm busy with my new acquisitions still. Darkest of Days was released to europe late last night. I've been waiting for it with bated breth for a few weeks now. some reviews are actually quite negative about it, but so far i've found it an excellent game. Just bought a retro game as welll (Star Wars from 2005. not bad either. Hopefully i'll be able to tear myself away from the above games tonight and then will check out this othello remake. :)

Today, I have an excellent game to play with a friend or by yourself. Building Panic is an arcade/puzzle game that is inspired by the board game titled Othello. This really is fun, and looks like it would be a blast to play with a friend.

Building Panic is definitely one of the better arcade/puzzle games available for download. It's obviously inspired by the board game Othello, as are a lot of games out there, but Building Panic has a certain edge over them all. If you are looking for frantic game play, strategic thinking and simultaneous hot seat action, I believe this is the game for you.

As the title suggests, there is a lot of building and a lot of panic in this game. You are pitted against rival builders and must compete to dominate the scaffold with your colour by plastering the empty spaces. As you progress further through the 5 stages of the game, you will encounter new enemies of different colours and varied attacks. It doesn't take long for the panic to set in as there are boss battles to contend with at the end of each stage.

I have to say I adore the graphics of this game. The characters are done in the SD format (Super Deformed) and the bosses are all very well done. The music is nothing spectacular, but I do think it suits this type of game.

Where Building Panic truely shines, is the 2 Player mode. Two gamers play on the one computer and compete to beat the other's score on the points table. However, you still have to help each other out to survive each stage and boss battle.

In conclusion, Building Panic is challenging fun and the 2 Player mode really made this game a must download. If you want to know just how enjoyable this game is, please take note of the download button.
