One of the links led me to http://www.gatorgamez.com which seems to be a partner of Big Fish Games. They claim they have free games but I suspect they are the 60 minute trial versions. Does anyone know anything about them and if it is a safe site? WOT rates it green. Thanks.

here is one I play daily: http://www.playrohan.com this one has pvp after level 30. (goes up to 100.) You can play this one totally free. I have looked at the premium items and you can purchase an "Ultimate Gamecard" at Walmart for these items (remember, these items are not needed for gameplay. They are things like a monkey that picks up your loot and such.) Guilds are supported. XFire supported also.

Is this still going on? I'd love to get this

No teasing here, Ms. Funky... or at least not the mercilessly meanspirited, cruel and heartless teasing I've been subjected to by certain vicious nightdwellers. :-) If you'll recall, you'd concurred with a comment I made elsewhere about not wanting to get involved with a game that requires constant maintenance. So, since I didn't research the site, I just mused that if those gopets required regular feedings, brushings, nailclippings, walks, earwax removals and vaccinations, you'd likely be upset if your tot fell in love with her new virtual pooch and then YOU had to stay up all night (or day?) petting it to keep it from whining. (the pooch, not your tot) We all know kids say they'll take care of the new (bunny, goldfish, dog, birdie, tarantula, cat, narwhal, sasquatch)... but then they don't.
EDIT: PS - Thought I thanked you for the list you posted over on the samarost thread. If not, THANKEW berry berry much! I enjoy that genre immensely, and really appreciate the efforts of you and others who take the time to wade through the huge flash/java/shockwave sites to pluck a gem or three.

Looks like guessing which one Slava's snagged is nigh on to impossible. Can't recall the name of the one I came across a couple months ago that looked promising, can't find the link amongst my 14000 game urls. The home page said the beta was temporarily closed and was now invitation only. Used odd-looking creatures that suggested a SPORE-ish setting.

Never having played MMO games and not knowing the diff between MMOG, MMORPG and Moo Goo Gai Pan, I've been content to drool over what little I've read about SPORE. Started to wonder just how many such games are out there. Anyone else surprised?-

Today I have great news about an upcoming game giveaway for this weekend! We will present you not only the new game but a new concept in gaming - MMO and RTS in one package.

This new game — I will not tell you the name yet, so don’t ask :) — allows you to build your own kingdom and army and fight or trade with other players in a 3D environment. You can choose your race and your side in the battle between two factions, you can become a great commander or a skillful trader, you can manage your knights or your peasants - there are many paths to success in this game. Diplomacy and communication will also play an important role, since guild alliances with other players greatly increase your chances of survival in the world of dragons and giants. BTW, building a nice, safe fortress is a wise decision. :)

Be sure to let your friends know about the importance of checking our website this Saturday or Sunday. Post the information about our new giveaway in your blogs or on your website, if you have one - multiplayer games feel so much better when you have lots of players around, especially if there are many friends you can play with.

Yeah, I defently agree that Realm Crafter is better than RPG Maker, from what I know about it.

I've made several games using RPG Maker XP, with the 30-day trials. :P I like the program, and wouldn't mind getting it for free. In my opinion, as easy as it is, I wouldn't pay for it. It doesn't seem in-depth enough for 60? dollars.

MASA: Even though the 1.6 (current version) Isn't as nice as the 2.0 (direct x 9, pixel shading, ehhanced engine, excetra)It would still be great software. :)

If giveaway of the day doesn't release this software, i'm going to buy it.
