***Maybe*** interesting background...

People think of NASA folks as, well, rocket scientists, but my experience when we lived just down the coast in Florida was entirely the opposite. When they ended the lunar landings, & budgets & priorities were cut, lots & lots of the best & brightest got out while they could move to high paying jobs/careers -- they especially left the NASA facilities in Florida, which were built in a swampy part of Florida where frankly, historically no one ever wanted to live. The folks that were left were often those that were suited to gov bureaucracies &/or couldn't find a better job elsewhere. Dealt with NASA, worked with ex-NASA people, knew several ex-NASA folks, & in most cases the myths & legends were just that.

Nasa has lost a laptop full of sensitive information, placing thousands of the space agency's employees and contractors at risk, according to reports.

The laptop was stolen from a Nasa worker's car and contains a slew of personal information, including employees' social security numbers, according to Reuters.

The theft is doubly dangerous as the information stored on the laptop is not encrypted, meaning the thief could easily access it.

Personal and financial information is a high value item on many cyber black markets, as it allows crooks to craft more complex and effective attacks.

I never said the same question was being asked.

I meant the same response applies to the above question as the other.

In the event that there is a problem with the software that causes everyones software to revert to a trial (it has happenned before) a fixed version is usually re-offered as a giveaway (like todays re-run).

In the event somebody misses a giveaway, forgets to activate, has some other problem with their PC or the software on it that prevents the activate from working - an immediate rerun is less likely.

To date we (Forum Moderators and Users) have never been given permission to hand out activation codes to reinstall expired giveaways.

There have always been 4 options in this case. Continue with the trial, Register the full version, Wait for a possible rerun, or uninstall and possibly find and install an alternative.

I don't think that he asked that. He didn't format his computer.
I had the same problem today. Yesterday the software worked great. Today, when I turned the computer on, the program said it was unregistered and asked me to buy a license.
PS: I've done exactly what the readme file said to when I installed the program, and I've been getting software here for a long time. This is the first time this happens.

terflip,
As BuBBy advises, it's always a good idea to save a long review or whatever before you attempt to post it. I've lost count of the amount of times that I've had to re-type a message owing to a posting failure. It happens all the time on all sorts of forums and message-boards. So basically, if you don't fancy having to re-type something, be sure to save it first, just in case.

Just to name the latest, I properly registered the following programs...checked to be sure the registrations were in place and accepted and now they are gone. The programs are now on "trial versions".

Premium Booster 2.2 (rerun) I had the older version I got thru GAOD and the registration remained until I downloaded and installed 2.2. I registered it, checked it but now the code is gone.

Same with Elite Anti Keylogger....this was just yesterday and now I am on Trial.

I haven't gone thru all I have downloaded here but it is strange that the downloads for the past couple of weeks are losing the codes.

Anyone else having this problem?

If you are signed into the forums - it should carry your settings across (and fill in the text boxes) automatically.

(It's a good idea to save your review post into notepad - as sometimes reviews get "eaten" and never appear - if a review hasn't appeared within 2 hours - I'd suspect either it has been "moderated" or the censor software has eaten it - or the comment moderators have gone out for pizza and forgotten about you.)

If you continue to have problems - try the "Contact Us" form - down the bottom of the main page - to ask for assistance there.

These forums are completely separate - and there is no overlap between the two "systems", so while I can sympathize, I cannot actually fix the problem.

Here lately every time I write a review it goes to a page that says word press "you need a valid E-Mail address". I have entered my correct E-Mail every time.

The really frustrating part is it does this when I write a fairly large review. (for me anyways) And of course if I click on the back arrow its all gone. UGH!!!!!

If I take the time to review a product and spend several hours playing with the program, I would like to be able to post my review.

I will do a couple more than the heck with the reviews.

Even better than ERUNT or using System Restore points, if you are comfortable working with the registry and understand what you are looking at (ie. This isn't for everyone), take a look at "RegmonToRegFile".

http://tools.veloc-it.com/tabid/58/grm2id/17/Default.aspx

I haven't had much of a play with it yet - but the concept is straighforward - and it looks to make life a little easier in some cases than using regmon alone.

These are very useful for selective backup and restore to protect your system registry.

If all this sounds like greek... move along... nothing to see here. :)

Without the activation key, I don't see how. But in the future, backup your Program Files and get the free (works on Windows 2000, XP) ERUNT to make backup copies your registry. And back these files up too. As they hold the activation keys.

Hello, I downloaded the Premimum Booster and had no problems with it what-so-ever. The problem occurred elsewhere within my computer. I had to re download my windows system and when I went to re-activate theprogram it required an activation key. This I couldn't findanywhere in my computer. How would I possibly be able to use this program again without having to purchase it?
