Sorry I was not more specific. I am running XP Pro and I have the most recent video drivers. I do not get any error message, but when I set the game to run at 1280x768, the game opening screen appears, but the game does not respond to the "press any key". Tried mouse, space bar, Enter key and numerous other keys. When I try to get out with C-A-D, it the task manager flickers on the screen so I can't see it to shut the game down. The same happens if I use the "Start" menu key, the start menu flickers but can not see to use it. I had to press the system reset button and reboot.

Can you explain better than "I am having a video problem".

Can you describe what the actual problem is? Error Messages? Are you running XP or Vista? Are you running current / recent Video drivers?

Without knowing what the problem is - nobody will be able to help.

I am having a video problem. Card is a Radeon 9600 series, tried the game at 1280x768, my desktop is at 1280x1024. I hate to try it at a lower setting like 800x600 since some games change my desktop setting also!
Any ideas on what I can do to play this game?

I have neither that controller, nor have I looked at the game, but a clever piece of free software "Xpadder" can enable game controller support for any game.

Good morning everyone, :)

This isn't an issue of the software, but an issue of Swan! As some of you know, I don't usually play games that use the keyboard only. However, this has controller support, of which I'd like to make use.

My problem is that I have NO idea how to set up my game pad for this game. Normally, I don't have an issue, but this game is different and doesn't seem to move around the controls the way other games do. I don't have a problem setting it up for other games, just this one!

I would really appreciate some help:

Game Pad = Logitech RumblePad 2

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
~ Swan

(I decided to purchase a gamepad because of this software. Looking at using it with MAME)

Here's a great piece of FREE software I just found that works really good, even on my Vista Home Premium system.

http://xpadder.com

You can re-map any keyboard key to any button on your gamepad controller.

It's working great for me with Extinction that was given away a couple days ago.

Enjoy! ;)
