Dated: 11-29-11 "What is the difference in SpringPublisherPro2.1 Application (Downloaded 10-11-11) and the Giveaway of the Day Application SlimPublisher 2.3? This appears to be the same program (GUI interface) the same. Why two companies with the same program? I uninstalled Pro 2.1, not wanting to have two Applications that do the same thing". Hier kan je alleen wat invoeren als je geregistreerd bent. En kan Plankje dus achteraf altijd ingrijpen. Ik betrap me zelf erop dat ik maar uiterst zelden de forums bezoek. Vandaar dat ik nu pas reageer, drie maanden na je posting. Ik heb geen zin veel tijd te besteden aan het inrichten en zou dus het liefst van mijn favoriete programma's op mijn Vista laptop een "install" willen maken, zodat ik op de nieuwe laptop niet tijden bezig ben met finetunen van allerlei instellingen. Ik heb wat tips gekregen, onder andere van @^@ en Ootje, maar die noemen software waarmee ik hele partities kan klonen. Dat wil ik niet. Want een Vista Windows-partitie van merk X kan je niet zomaar gebruiken als W7-partitie op merk Y. Er is wel software waarmee je a raison van circa $50 per migratie ALLE software in één keer kan verhuizen van computer A naar computer B. Maar dat wil ik ook niet, want ik wil ook een toekomstige herinstallatie van W7-applicaties op de nieuwe laptop mogelijk maken en dat op applicatieniveau, niet op partitieniveau. ------------------ Een ervaringsfeit van mijn W7-laptop: die heeft twee schermprocessors. Eentje op het moederbord, de andere apart. De laptop moest regelmatig overschakelen, hetgeen tijd kost. Sinds ik Aero heb uitgeschakeld, draait de laptop als een XP/Vista-zonnetje ;). En doet Alt-tab het weer zoals het hoort. Met Aero actief werkte Alt-tab niet en moest ik Win-tab gebruiken. We've dealt with this standard forum design long enoungh! Now I know we can't change the design for the world to see but we can see it how we want to in our browsers. I've taken it upon myself to develop this user style that I feel makes the forums a little easier to use. I've taken a simplistic approach by removing some of the clutter and increasing font size here and there. You can install it with Stylish or as a user script. I've tested it on Chrome with Stylish and it works perfectly. I tried it on firefox and it's really messed up. So, I will work on getting it cross-browser compatible but I am very busy and it may not get done for awhile. If any of you are willing to take my design and tweak and fix it yourself and send me the code back so I can update it I'll give you credit on the page for helping me. Also, perhaps this will spark some of you into creating your own user styles for our beloved forums to share. These are our forums people, let's make them special! It says "Service Unavailable". The PAD file works as I have added it to over 10 software websites. Does anyone know what could be causing this? This is known as a false positive - which is caused because the check Spybot is making is far too broad and catching other "innocent bystander" products. It is not the giveaway software that is at fault - but spybot not being specific enough to test for the "keylogger" product from Virtuoza. I have also checked the software against using two other products - neither detecting any "keylogger" software. Your AOL browser when opened starts at the AOL forum. Like when I finish an install my default browser opens. If it's a fact you use AOL and use broadband, there is no need to install their buggy software to connect to the net.
