Reviving Maizey's thread with a real time suck. Granted, it won't qualify as awesome or inspiring, but it's an online thumb twiddler that doesn't seem to fit under the other forum categories - animal, vegetable or mineral.

Johnny Appleseed just stumbled across a site called WORDLE that turns any text you enter, or the word content from any blog, blog feed, or any other web page that has an Atom or RSS feed into "art"... or at least a colorful word cloud.

If that's not enough wordplay, your next stop should probably be WORDIE, where you create your own word cloud(s) and see if your vocabulary is truly unique or surprisingly common amongst logophiles.
