Hello, sorry if this is an FAQ but I did a search on the forum and couldn't see an answer.

I don't see any way to add an avatar (aka user picture) to my Profile. Does my ability to do that depend on the number of posts you've made, or am I just being rather dim?

Step 1:
Go to http://www.gravatar.com and click on the button that says "Get your Gravatar today!"

Step 2:
On the signup page enter in the email address you use for GOTD. It must be the same for this to work.

Step 3:
After confirming your email add an image to use with that email address.

ATTENTION: The screen name you choose for this service DOES NOT have to be the same one you use here on the forums. It can be if you want but if the one you use isn't available then simply choose another one. The only thing that has to match is the email address you use. As long as you provide the same email for "Gravatar" and on these forums in your profile settings then your avatar will show up. Thanks.

After a minute or two the changes will take place and you will have your own avatar here on the forums. You can go to that site and change your image whenever you want. This image will be used on any service that uses "Gravatar" including these forums. Hopefully GOTD will add a link to the signup page in your edit section so everyone knows how to do this. But until then, now you know. Just remember to keep your images G-rated because the GOTD community is for all ages. Thank you and enjoy.
