When Whiterabbit-uk wrote that he wanted to compile an alphabetic list of the Free Games for the Weekday ... well, I already had such a list and now you all have it too ;-)
I'll try to keep the list up to date, but I'm only hum...an old lump of sandstone, so please PM me if a link is not working or if I've missed something.
There is also a list of Free Browser Games that you can peruse.

For those new to the forum: "Free Game for the Weekday" is a project that was started by Whiterabbit -aka- Games Guru to fill the void while the official game giveaway is limited to weekends only. He has since been joined by wizzard_of_ozz2004 and reverseOrder (and for a while also by thewebmaster). Together they provide a steady stream of information and download details for free games that they have found on the internet. The games they post are all freeware or abandonware.

Most of the games are for Windows, but there are several DOS-games as well and you'd miss out on some great games if you avoided them because there's an excellent DosBox Tutorial by wizzard_of_ozz2004 which shows how you can easily play DOS-games in Windows. You only need to go through this once and hey ... if I can do it ... !

To top it off, Whiterabbit describes how to create a shortcut on the desktop for the odd game that doesn't do this automatically.
