I've just posted a link to a free Jigsaw puzzle caled Amazing Jigsaw. It's not as good as the Infinite Jigsaw puzzle that was given away a few months ago, but it's definitely very playable. I couldn't find an option to add your own images, but there are some decent puzzles included with different levels of difficulty:

Buckleysmom, no worries. Since no other negative reports showed up, one assumes you were witness to an infamous false positive. Or is it a false negative? Semantics are fun and tricky... as Creamy would have learned had another thread not suffered an untimely end just as I was about to show him the error of his ways. :-)

Rune and Gray....sorry, this is the first I've been back here in a while. I think it was Bit Defender that had a problem, but it's been so long I can't say for sure. I never know what security stuff hubby might be "trying out". However, I just tried again and there was no problem with the site soooooooooo.......

Certain hosts lists have a very wacky idea of what belongs in the "good 'n safe" and "bad 'n malicious" categories. FWIW, I blended a new list with those I'd never had a problem using with HOSTSMAN and am spending way too much time this month EXCLUDING safe sites that some MORON (yep, I used the M word!!!) blacklisted, e.g., SEARS.com and Wallpaperbase.com. I guess some prude (or some Brady Gun Control flake) didn't want anyone looking at the lingerie or weapons pages at either site.

I would never post a link to a site that caused even the slightest hiccough at the gates to my lair. None-zip-nada of my security layers had problems with the jigsawoftheday site nor have they been upset by several zips I downloaded from there in the past.

On a lark, I even checked with the ultra-sensitive McAfee Site Advisor. It gives its Green Checkmark seal of approval revered by leprechauns the world over. Not even the sites to which the jiggy site links appear worrisome per McAfee's mapping scan.

Still, not suggesting you ignore warnings just to get a jigsaw puzzle. I'd be interested in which software on your PC had its air raid sirens tripped.

Note: My security software didn't like jigsawaday.com at all, said it was "malicious" and "high risk" so I'm passing on that one.

Thanks for starting this thread. Though I'm not a big user of real jigsaw puzzles, I really like the computer ones. I've googled them before but didn't really locate anything good before I gave up looking.

I posted this jigsaw game on the Infinite game page yesterday but it wasn't put up until about 4-5 hours after I submitted it (about after 2:30 am EST). It’s a jigsaw puzzle called Bigjig. Go to http://www.lenagames.com/bigjig.htm It isn't actually free, it's shareware--but it’s free to download and use (No game functions are disabled). If you visit the website, you can get one free puzzle every week to play within Bigjig. If you purchase and register it, you get over 300 jigsaw puzzles and a program that allows you to make jigsaws out of your own pictures to use within Bigjig.

It's not an alligator, it's a chameleon. I agree, he's annoying. If you don't move fast enough he starts complaining he's bored!

Not yet, and I did find out the number 4 was stuck on my numeric keyboard ( one of my cats had posed himself on the keyboard) maybe that caused the disturbance.
I am playing once a again, and only wish I could turn that annoying alligator off.

After seeing your post, I tried my copy. I had not played since I first installed. I am running Vista ultimate and I had no problem at all. I did MUCH better this time.

If you could start a new game then somehow your configuration got corrupted and it lost what you had done with the previous game.

Hopefully the problem won't recur.

I downloaded, activated and installed Keywords and it worked fine up until last night.
I have changed nothing on my computer, never touched any properties or what have you, but today, if I choose to continue my game, it simply crashes without telling me why.
I have Vista Basic as OS.
Has anyone had the same experience and what could cuase and solve it?

PS. I can start a new game and play.
