Therefore, until this problem is fixed I shall not + or - anyone at all!! :-( </blockquote> The reason why you can vote + and see 5 +'s or even a - is simply because voting is going on all the time while the page is loaded (in the background) but the votes only update when you reload or vote. While a user might see +5 in the voting - because others are also voting - it might actually be +3 at the instant when you click to vote +. Instead of seeing +6 you see +4 which is actually the up to the second correct total. It is possible there could be dozens of votes every second while you are reading the page - which is why the "last loaded" vote seems to be incorrect when the page is reloaded or you place a vote. I hope that explains the voting a little better. The Dependency Walker has proved itself useful more than once in tracking down the source of a problem/glitch/conflict. Sorry, can't help you with either version of COA since it's been years since I've attempted a program relocation with that thing. No longer have Norton to count on, either, so I'm in a pickle - wanting to move various things, and not even positively sure if renaming a sub-folder might gum up a GAOTD registry entry and lacking any confidence that my attempts to clone/image the C: drive will actually work when this HD finally bites the dust. Pretty aggravating. At least I won't have to start from scratch, having saved zip/ex files and home page URLs for each and every one of the 19,482 s/w appls downloaded in the past year. (whether I've installed them yet or not) (applies to non-GAOTD, of course) Still, with every passing month, at least 675 are upgraded, meaning I'll need to download updates of pretty much all of 'em, but who's counting? But when I moved the softs (within the *same* Program Files but to another folder), had a few problems, although they still work when I call them up. ==> All my Context Menu entries for those programs disappeared.
