I’d really love to see more new Arkanoid-style games and ones similar to Treasures of Persia. I've completed most of the games we've downloaded, and I'm ready for fresh challenges. It would be great if you could bring back developers like Alawar, Alive, Realore, Urse, and 300 A.D. I really appreciated the high-quality games they produced. Since I'm on dial-up, I haven't been able to get the better Merscom games and I’m not a fan of the games from sites like doublegames, freegames4rest, or freegamesarea. I'm grateful for the many hours of fun I've had so far, but I’d love to see some of these great developers return. Thanks! :)

The GAOTD team would like to thank the vendors who have provided these free programs to us as well as the GAOTD team. In spite of this, I would very much like to see a program that would enable the user to track and update the drivers for the hardware on their computer, and I would very much like to see this program. I think that it would also be very helpful to be able to keep up with the latest codecs and other necessary files as well.
There is another type of program that I would like to see, and that is a Personal Information Manager, which would keep track of one’s calendar, to-do list, notes, etc. It is worth noting that PackRat and EccoPro are two old-style PIMs that I particularly liked.

I would like to get PhraseExpress or VueMinder calendar. Two programs I had before PC crash. Thank you for what you can do.

I would like to see a program that would save backup copies of my EXISTING device drivers. My most serious problems occur when someone provides an update to a device driver and suddenly I have a device that doesn't work anymore. There is seldom a way to go back to the device driver that works because that driver is no longer available. Additionally, such a program could be executed either on command or on startup to notify me when a new driver has been installed that is different from the previous driver. There are plenty of programs that offer to keep your drivers up-to-date, but none that I am aware of to make easily found backup copies of existing drives.

I have found some of the Icecream Apps programs useful in the past, but have lost my copies due to a change of computer. Please could we have some of those given away, eg PDFsplit/merge and PDFeditor. I know we have had similar programs but these do seem quite good for their size.

I know the site works hard to keep the downloads safe, and it's probably a false positive, but where the installers also have false flags from other A V Programs, if this is also a false positive, maybe it's time to look into a different format for the installers so we don't have to strip out computers of all protection to be able to install the software.
