I downloaded MadMagic this morning and when I go to play the game, the opening screen opens and says "click to play" and when I do I get the following popup box.

gam.dat has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will notify you if a solution is available.

Then Windows Mail pops up and is going to send a message to the developers. It has an attached log with it. I even opened the game as "administrator" and it still does the same thing. Can someone help me? Thank you.
