Hi BuBBy
sorry I should have added I am running Windows 2000 Pro. There is a slightly later version of the ATI driver but it is buggy and crashes out on a regular basis.
I installed Tea time on my other PC, again running Win2K pro, this has an Nvidia card but came up with almost identical errors. Drivers and DirectX are all current.
No problems though, some you win, some you lose, I'll just wait for the next one.
Many thanks anyway. Keep up the good work.

@sbun.

Firstly - upgrade your installed version of DirectX from HERE

Then upgrade your video drivers for YOUR video card - either the XP/2000 Version or the Win 98/ME.

This will upgrade your nVidia drivers from v44 to either v93 or v81

You can locate the current drivers for nVidia cards at any time by following the links at http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

@Wrinkles - check that you are running the latest version of the ATI Catalyst (Video) drivers. You can download these from HERE

The drivers for Windows 98 (Legacy) systems haven't been updated in quite a while - but the drivers for Windows XP were updated late 2006 (I believe).

Judging by the date (25/01/06) - it looks like you are on XP and your drivers could do with an update. (I am assuming you are not running Win98 from this).

I downloaded Magic tea this morning, followed the install instructions, when I tried to run the program I got an error d3d9.dll missing, although it was in the game directory. I copied it to System32 folder and the windows folder, tried again, another error, cant find ogreplatform.dll. this was also in the game folder, so copied it to System32, & windows folder. Tried again, Error Procedure entry point getrawinputdeviceinfow could not be located in user32.dll, click OK on that error and Another error "An exception has been thrown...... error#9 Dynlib::load........could not load DLL ogreplatform.dll procedure could not be found..........File:\ogredev\dagon\ogremain\scr\ogredynlib.cpp
Line 82
stack unwinding

there followed a page full of (..)<-(..)<-

Do you think it's broke?

As a matter of interest I downloaded and installed it to a different system this evening with virtually the same results.
So yes I think its broke
