Idahl,
Thanks for the tip. I've got the blank registration screen, but so far I haven't had any prompts to buy the program, so hopefully it will keep working this time, as you suggest.

I have the previous version of this. I've had it quite a long time and it works fine. If I go to TOOLS, ABOUT, it states it is registered to Giveawayoftheday. If I go to TOOLS, REGISTRATION it will show it is registered to Giveawayoftheday, and the slots for a registration number will be empty. This is normal, ignore it. If your software says it is registered in the "ABOUT" screen, it is registered. If when you open the program and you get a pop-up up that says "buy now" or "register now" or "30 day trial", or your ABOUT screen asks you to register the software, then you may have a problem; otherwise I'd say you are ok. I am just basing this on the fact that my version has stayed operational and this is what I see in my TOOLS, ABOUT screen and I get no pop-ups.

I should tell you that when I got this earlier version, I and others had a job getting it registered(that is why I am sticking with this version and am not even attempting to get this tiny upgrade)but there was a registration number to enter with that version and it was only half of it. Bubby helped us ones that were desperately wanting the program in the last 5 minutes of the giveaway.I helped my sister get the one offered today (over the phone)and she had the same questions as everyone else. This version didn't have a registration number to enter but her ABOUT screen looked the same as mine and she didn't get any trial version notices. Good luck! I love this program for what it does, it is well worth the effort to make sure it is a working copy that you will be able to retain.

I had exactly the same problem as the OP (and I had the same problem when the program was previously given away). I unzip the files, open the activation file then follow through the set-up steps, but at the end, I'm left with a trial version that is registered in the name of the site, but needs a registration key. I'd tried uninstalling and re-installing, but still no luck.

I'm running XP SP2, by the way.

After you run the activation, of course run the setup file, just close that pop up wanting you to buy it or register. You can check it installed correctly by click the about under the help tab. It should say registered or licensed to giveawayoftheday.

I also always drag the activate and setup files out of the compressed folder and when after I run activate, I leave that box saying its complete there until I finish installing the program, so the browser pop up comes up after the setup is all done. I don't think it matters,it is just a habit that always has work for me.

Hope this helps

I followed the instructions in the readme file to activate then install and the program opens but it gives me a nag about buying it. So I rerun activation. No nag on opening but when I look at the registration it says it’s a trial and I need to buy it and there’s no serial.

SOMEBODY FIX THE REG ISSUE PLEASE!

I really want to use this program. Running on 32 bit Vista.
