If you mean it's unregistered... As in the GOTD readme.txt file, visiting the special leawo.com url gave you a registration code. Using that code to register PowerPoint to Video Pro should add one file, while 2 others changed -- all were/are under All Users App or Application Data.

Assuming you copied & saved that registration code, maybe it would work to try registering the app again? You may need to run as admin etc. in Vista, win7, win8 to help make sure you have permissions to add & change files.

Leawo PPT to Video Pro says it will "Keep complete features and effects of the original PowerPoint files" and that "You can also add watermark or logo to credit your work". It does not state, imply or infer that it will remove watermarks.

The main reason I am a fan of Toolwiz Time Freeze is that it works extremely simple and fast. Just a few clicks and after less than 10 seconds I have a clean XP standing ready.

XP Mode itself is only available in win7 Pro & Ultimate, though anyone can download & install the win7 Virtual PC host software, regardless the version of 7 you're running. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you -- most of my VMs are in V/Box, which I like better overall. Win7's VPC only works with pro or higher end versions of Windows as guests, e.g. no Vista or 7 HP & no XP Home. And the same VM guest runs better in V/Box. OTOH because of the way VPC uses remote desktop you don't have to do anything in order to see or share files/folders on any of your drives -- that part's definitely nice.

[For those who don't use VMs, a sometimes big challenge is getting files from your regular Windows into the VM &/or from the VM out to Windows. Microsoft's app lets you access everything from inside the VM -- VirtualBox lets you assign shared folders both the VM & Windows can access.]

As far as I know the win7's XP Mode VM is only available in the Professional Edition. I have the standard version.
Another reason for me to use VirtualBox is that I can use the VirtualBox XP on my Vista 32 machines. So I can swap klones ...

Ik gebruik ook SandboxIE. Maar de giveaways test ik ook heel vaak in een XP in VirtualBox. Die virtuele XP laat ik bewaken door Toolwiz TimeFreeze. Zo bereik ik dat de virtuele XP na het voltooien van de test weer helemaal schoon opstart.

Er zitten voor- en nadelen aan dit forum. De voordelen zijn duidelijk: je kan zelf zoveel OT-onderwerpen bedenken als je wilt en per onderwerp met elkaar babbelen. Dan kan je dus posts van vele maanden/jaren geleden nog eens nalezen.
En de posts worden direct geplaatst,zonder voorafgaande moderatie. Dat houdt de vaart erin.
Ook het "Notify me of follow-up posts via email" is erg plezierig.
Het nadeel is echter dat er een moderatie achteraf is. Daardoor zie je soms opeens je eerdere posts verdwijnen. Zonder enige toelichting. Ook als je zou denken dat je alleen maar wat onschuldigs hebt gebabbeld.

Weliswaar jaar oid later, maar lijkt ook mij wel zeer goed plan, temeer omdat super irritant is als er door de GOTD -ers nutteloos off topic gekwekt wordt en het niet gaat over de software meer!

Daar is dus een forum die ook hier erbij zit, OOK voor bedoeld ;)

It is a good idea for long time posters - to register a forum account & sign in - then that account is used by default when posting comments on the front page. A regular moderator will recognise the provided email address - and can easily spot an imposter.

Even inhaken op wat mij zelf op dit moment bezig houdt: ik heb sinds een kleine twee weken een nieuwe laptop, op W7 ditmaal. Ik heb geen zin veel tijd te besteden aan het inrichten en zou dus het liefst van mijn favoriete programma's op mijn Vista laptop een "install" willen maken, zodat ik op de nieuwe laptop niet tijden bezig ben met finetunen van allerlei instellingen. Ik heb wat tips gekregen, onder andere van @^@ en Ootje, maar die noemen software waarmee ik hele partities kan klonen. Dat wil ik niet. Want een Vista Windows-partitie van merk X kan je niet zomaar gebruiken als W7-partitie op merk Y. Er is wel software waarmee je a raison van circa $50 per migratie ALLE software in één keer kan verhuizen van computer A naar computer B. Maar dat wil ik ook niet, want ik wil ook een toekomstige herinstallatie van W7-applicaties op de nieuwe laptop mogelijk maken en dat op applicatieniveau, niet op partitieniveau.

Een ervaringsfeit van mijn W7-laptop: die heeft twee schermprocessors. Eentje op het moederbord, de andere apart. De laptop moest regelmatig overschakelen, hetgeen tijd kost. Sinds ik Aero heb uitgeschakeld, draait de laptop als een XP/Vista-zonnetje ;). En doet Alt-tab het weer zoals het hoort. Met Aero actief werkte Alt-tab niet en moest ik Win-tab gebruiken. Je ziet dan wel mooi een driedimensionaal overzicht van alle vensters, maar het overschakelen ging klungelig.

Als moderator in het forum heb ik geen toezicht op de softwarepagina en kan dus niet zien of daar eventueel een ban is, maar er kunnen ook andere oorzaken zijn.
Op de NL-softwarepagina gaan sinds enige tijd alle reacties eerst in een moderatie-wachtrij (net als op de engelse page), maar de reactie zou dan voor jezelf te zien moeten zijn met het onderschrift 'awaiting moderation' bij de naam/datum/tijd.
Als de reactie helemaal niet verschijnt ...
Zou het kunnen dat je browser een script niet uitvoert? (> script-ondersteuning inschakelen via configuratiescherm: internet eigenschappen: geavanceerd / javascript updaten / evt. een andere browser proberen).
Zou het kunnen dat je cookie voor giveawayoftheday korrupt is? (> cookies verwijderen / browser cache leegmaken).
En zoals Idunnobutiwastold al meldt ...
Zou het spamfilter reden kunnen hebben om je reacties te weren? (> probeer een reactie te plaatsen zonder links).
