Could the publisher of FlipBuilder.com please explain how to get the book working after uploading to the web? I've got it working on the hard drive very well. And I uploaded both the files folder with the images, etc, and the html file. But when I try to view the result after it was uploaded to my website, all I see is an empty page.

This is the webpage in question:

Installed easily with XP3. I use Open Office and DO NOT have MS Powerpoint installed. Got the expected "Microsoft PowerPoint is needed" message but I continued and clicked on "Add Image(s)". I added four images and was then able to set book parameters and create a fully functional image Flipping Book which could be saved in several formats. I repeated this with 30 jpeg photographs (about 60 to 100 kb each). Conversion was very quick. Saved output as an html file which could be opened by a browser allowing one to flip through the photos as described within the browser window.

Attention!!!
Workaround for the Access Violation Error:

I also had the above mentioned error. I have Win 7 Prof 64 & Office 2010.

Changing the app's compatibility mode (Right click/Troubleshoot Compatibility/...) worked for me. I believe now mine is set to 'Win XP'. Since that one worked for me, I stopped experimenting.

Entered Comment 67, as I was experiencing problems publishing. I was never prompted to browse to a location to save. So, I had to uninstall and install again to get it working.

With that said, it was all worth the extra steps. With the exception of the rearranging of slides (which I agree is annoying), I think this is some pretty sweet software. The effects are great, and appreciate the clean Flash interface. Love it! Thanks GOTD and Flip Builder.

I have ispring, and would be curious to check out this tool. But I should mention there is another slick PowerPoint viewer/converter out there. It does have a free version. Visit prezi.com to check it out. Note that it does not flip pages but it does offer an attention-grabbing way to present. PPT files need to be converted to PDF to work with prezi.

Installed on XP - no issues; however, I am dying to see this thing work. Imported a ppt, hit publish, but can't find the properties to see where to save, or point to an appropriate location to save the file and view it. Help!
