Never worked for me, no matter how I tried it. I still get the evaluation watermark on my exports. Great concept though.

Resonding to Tegan, 33 :
The OpenOffice flash export feature does not export transitions neither animations. It does export you presentation as a succession of still pages in one flash file with basic navigation from one still to the other.
Apparently FlashSpring Pro do export transition and animation.

Great find- Office mates are agog about it- they use PowerPoint a lot-
Just sorry I missed on the Arkanoid offer (grew up on it and just glad it is still around) How do make companies give away their software? I hope you don't go beheading poor racehorses!

Activate.exe SAYS it works, but it doesn't. I still have the evaluation watermark on all my files. I'm using Vista and Office 2007.

Re: 22, 23, and 28 above. I still think this was a lovely utility - but apparently it requires you to be the administrator of your computer to run it - something that an overly cautious IT department won't usually allow. A bit of a downer on the excitement of the day and not all that great for CPS Labs either as purchase of the software for other departments based on the enthusiasm and recommendation of one user likely won't happen.

Hello,
Just one question, once again, I have seen that first your website had a tag "BETA" but now it is "BETA2". Also the looks are changed, Why????
What's the reason.
And yes, thanks for the software.

Responding to 20: Sharing the info that this capability is already available as a feature of other software (of the free and often-downloaded sort) is not necessarily an attempt to get a pi**ing contest going. I have OpenOffice installed, but haven't used it a lot, and was not aware (or maybe had forgotten) that the presentation tool included the ability to export to flash and pdf formats. The comments that brought that to our attention are very helpful.

In fact, I'd be interested to see a comparison, if anyone on here has looked at both - does this commercial package handle anything that the open source alternative doesn't?

I responds to 28: the same problem and message appears within my laptop. The problem isn't there in my other computers. Strange detail: the computer with the problem is the only one with the professional Windows (the others have the home version).

A great utility, even better for us lowly teachers (which I hope to heck falls in the non-commercial use category). I've tried other comprable plugins - and this is one of the nicest. Good job! Great idea!

Nope. Still not working for me. I install the software, restart the computer as required, and then activate. I still get the overlay. What am I doing wrong?

Got it installed, but the activation app won't connect. It seems to timeout, then give me an error message: "Activation module failed to connect to Giveawayoftheday.com. Software activation is not possible at the moment. Please try again later or check your firewall settings."

My ZoneAlarmPro settings are fine - I never have any problem registering apps from Macromedia, Adobe, Microsoft - which makes me a little suspicious as to what the activation program is doing. I don't see any message popup in ZoneLabs (as is normally the case) notifying me that an attempt is being made to connect. I'd love to try the product, but I'm not eager to compromise my system's security to do so. Any ideas?

EXCELLENT program. Eric, it is a full, no-nag version. You need to install the application .exe THEN install/launch the activate .exe as stated by the team.

I'm using this software already with great result, and I've downloaded many others you've offered. I'm enjoying getting to know new developers and finding out what's out there by following links from your offers. I've never been much of a "finder"--digging out products on my own--but your forum pulled me in with its giveaways and has me moving into new possibilities. Thank you.

It seems to be a nice software but it doesn't work with my OpenOffice. If teher is no way to add sopport for Open Office maby its chance to create self-standing converter. But it's just my opinon.

Hi, I am project manager of FlashSpring.

There are known problems with PowerPoint 2007 Beta. However it works with PowerPoint 2007 (tested with PowerPoint 2007 developer edition).

Don't see the point in this software.

OpenOffice is free, it does open PowserPoint presentations, and it does export them to Flash - all that for free, and open-source.
