Biggest problem I saw is that you have to evoke the program each time -- nothing is associated so no left click bring up a context menu. I was rather surprised by that. Also would be good if it REPLACED the recycle bin like EAST-TEC ERASER does. Was fast though but could NOT CLEAN slack bytes so over all, lukewarm rating. I would not recommend this for purchase.
I have always wanted to ask this: I usually move all the data I want to delete to a pendrive, and then format that pendrive. On the hard drive I assume that one can never retrieve data that was moved.
Question - can one retrieve data from "records" left behind? I had different programs and different problems. If this can correct, it would save a bundle. Thanks.

Sir,
I appreciate comment on my 8th observations. But still i find revo uninstaller and ccleaner does the registry cleaning also. The registry part is essential to execute the program and if there are traces, then the correct registry entries cannot be erased and it will do the tricks. So only I suggested to include the registry. Will any one say , how windmind hidden folder could be erased in vista or xp. thank you. I appreciate the developers brain work

@#32 Glen3: Many millions of Windows users aren't familiar with "save with replace old file mode" because they're not familiar with Linux / Unix. On that basis, the Gutmann pass coupled with defrag / optimization is still the best option for the majority -- hence: Eraser's longterm success.
