If you're going to call it a Media Center, it should include support for capturing TV Tuner Cards. VideoLAN aka VLC Media Player has a lot of the same features, also includes support for capturing TV & Radio tuner cards, and it's free. Dusco's SesamTV Media Center and MediaPortal also both free do the same-plus. If you are going to charge $40.00 you should add this support, then you'll fill a big void for those that don't have Windows Media Center Edition. I had a Windows XP Pro MCE computer that died and pulled out the tuner card to transfer to a regular stand by computer. I had a hard time finding a good Media Center program to work with it. The choices are very very limited. I had settled with SesamTV because it's a true close clone to Windows MCE and like Windows MCE can be used like a DVR with program scheduling, where as VLC is more like a Media Player. From the details of your software, it's like VLC. It's more of a Media Player then a Media Center. To make it a true Media Center you really need to add the tuner support with or without program scheduling. There are people out there that are now making a trend of hooking up computers that have true Media Centers to wide screen tv sets. You guys are going to miss the boat on this one.

Where do you enter the registration info? I have searched the help file and the program itself but was unable to figure out how to register.

- Too many things have to be done manually, like creating folders, changing filenames etc...
- Use a very old version of K-Lite Mega Code Pack.
- Examples are in Chinese!

I didn't even get to try opening a video file with the program. Not only would I not pay any amount of money for this program, I wouldn't accept it for free when there are products out there like VLC or MPlayer Classic.

Zoomplayer would be the ideal program if you wanted to spend money.

Terribly unpolished, clunky interface, and curiously slowed my computer without even running media file.

Oh yeah, there's no obvious uninstaller and it includes K-lite codec pack which it installs without asking if you was it.
