Just started to play with it, figured I’d do the update, and then the software was terminated. Pretty bad company to do that. Granted it was free, but they seem like the kind of company that would rip you off if given the chance. No thanks.

I can not understand the comments blaming this soft for enabling to download pics from adult sites.For the program to be versatile it needs to download all kinds of pics,including porn.Might come as a surprise to you,but there are a lot of guys out there,looking for exactly this kind of stuff.And they are the majority,most probably.

Fabulous software. I set the parameters for the pictures I wanted and had so many downloads, I couldn’t keep up with them all. Nice job on this. Ive used others that despite the setting, only returned tiny thumbnails. Really like this one!!

This is a useful program but it doesn’t violate any copyright laws. Any website you visit will download all of the images on a page into the temporary internet files folder on your computer. You can’t put up a web page that doesn’t allow your images to download into a person’s computer or else we would all be looking at broken links.
So the ignorance abounding in these comments is amazing. Further, I wouldn’t have even noticed the erotica except that numerous people who posted here mentioned it. So what? There is erotica all over the Internet. Search google on the word of your choice and you can have all you want.
The purpose of GAOTD is obviously to allow a user group to evaluate software’s usefulness and functionality while providing the user with free tools. Their rules should be set up to disallow stupidity.

note to ‘merril’ and similar profit-mart affiliate marketing sales pr types: it’s not possible for someone to view any web content without downloading it.
note to bandwidth-limited site ‘owners’: I’ve occasionally read of this concern before since ‘forever’. you can probably find and edit some kind of script or server config to limit single user downloads. else, get a better host. google some of those ‘webmaster’ forums for info.

Purely for research, I checked out the “problem” categories.

If there is anything actually illegal (depending on juristiction), couldn’t find it. It can USE a password but doesn’t hack them – and password protected downloading is scrappily supported among a vast sweep of download programs, so it IS a feature.

The link database, though, means this has to be 18-rated, as there are many links which I’m sure GAOTD would not allow to be posted in the forum.
