DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME,MONEY OR EFFORT ON THIS ONE.

Software will not work as advertised and company will not respond to emails for help and that is unfortunate because I really wanted this to work. I belive your chances of getting hit by lightning are better than your chances of getting help from this company.

RE: #75 "Keep in mind the folks crying poverty own PC’s and pay an internet provider each month for service. Somehow that just doesn’t fit portraying one’s self as poverty stricken and disenfranchised. Ladies and or gentlemen, the song you’re singing is “out of tune”."

My computer was given to me and my internet comes from nearby business that have free internet. So you know what? You don't know everything!!!

I tried the program and it worked great, I copied 2 DVD's without a problem. I've read on above posts where people have had problems with it and some have not, those it didn't work on gave the software a bad report, but why does it work perfectly on other machines, may be they should look at their machines first?

I've been copying commercial DVDs for years and tried almost every DVD cloning software on the market. To do the cloning right, IMHO, the only solution is to use Slysoft AnyDVD to decrypt the DVD and use Elaborate Byte (Elby, for short) CloneDVD. You might find an all-in-one cloner works on some older titles, but the fact is that Hollywood changes their encryption methods all the time so that the latest titles will not work right. Slysoft is forever updating their software and was the first to offer blu-ray decryption. I don't know what the current asking price is but it is well worth it.

CloneDVD is about the best at copying. It offers so many options to get rid of crap you don't want and modifies the menus accordingly. Most of the time, I just have AnyDVD modify the output to jump straight to the menus and have CloneDVD remove the ads, trailers and audio tracks I don't want. Very rarely will the compression quality drop below 70% and the whole process takes about 35 to 45 minutes (I use 2 DVD writers).

As you can probably guess, I have no need for this giveaway, but I do sometimes see something worthwhile.

I missed out on the other two DVD programs so I'm glad to get this one.
Having a selection is nice even if you managed to snag the other programs.

Thanks GAOTD

I tried this software on two different Vista computers, a laptop and a desktop. The software seemed to rip okay but I never managed to get a workable DVD copy despite four attempts on each of two different copies. The copies not only failed to play in my DVD player but also failed on each of the computers. I also tried to copy two different movies, used multiple brands of media including a couple of high quality double layer DVD's. Nothing worked and the website support was no help at all. I will uninstall this software on both computers. Too bad, I thought it would be great for using backup copies but if you cannot get a copy that works what is the point. Definitely a thumbs down!
