Useful; adjustable transparency and speed of 'hide'.
Setting alarm times could be easier.

I have tried all I know to remove / un-install this program. I doubt if anyone will see this. If someone does, please post to main forum.

"Fruit bowel"? ...sounds painful.

(I think you mean fruit 'bowl' :)) lol.

By the way, all might try the program WIN BAR (not dev'd for a while, but try version 1, even better than v2 ) has a bit more than a clock too. (its free. you can google for it.)

@WhiteRabbit: Thanks! hahaha, I was mainly translating what HORST said, which in itself was pretty funny too. Especially if you imitate it with a german `ackzent`.

Comment by JesseB — February 4th, 2007 at 1:17 am"

Ok, It seems we've now established that the "1st to post's" rank somewhat in the area of, but slightly higher, than "getting sick and puking all over your date" at a junior high dance.

Nice. lol.

#69 LB WROTE: To #65 … thanks for the translation. For the “I am first” comments .. let it be … I like to read them.

You can receive such entertainment as "First to post to LB this Tuesday!" and "First to post email to LB at 7am on a day with a letter Y in it!" and "First email concerning Vl@GrA or Rolex watches to LB this week from Korea!" or "First Nigerian 419 post from DR. MUJIMBE KANUNU, Commissioner to the Late President, HONORABLE MBWANA AKIMBO of the hour!" and many more that would make your day very happy and give you hours of enjoyment. ;)

One of the less impressive clock programs. Clocx is free and way superior. You can keep this one. People actually pay twenty bucks for this? Yikes.

Oh yeah #67 IE7 is a great D/L. I use it frequently and the online JAVA games I play take much less memory then IE6 according to Windows task manager. This is just my opinion but I have sources that back up my opinion while you have 26 (28 if you count the "6" and "11") words at the end of a post based on a hatered of microsoft (or so I believe).

P.S. Still not meaning to offend anyone.

G' night everyone. Keep it up GAOTD team.

P.S.S. As I said before lol first posters :D

3 Things to say.

1) It looks like a half decent program but I won't download for reasons listed below.
2) I will adknowledge in advance that I know the program is free but I have this to say. For $20 I could go to the dollar store and buy like 10 clocks and use those and it wouldn't take up any memory. Of course I would need to get a table for them and position the table+clocks in my room so it wouldn't make much sense...
ANYWAYS...
3) The first comment posts always give me a laugh. Like last night I got back from my first jr. high dance and was kind of mad for getting sick halfway through and just reading the first commenters made me happier about puking al over my date and I need not go into detail after that.
ANYWAYS...

Keep up the work GAOTD team.

P.S. Not too good an idea giving away clocks. Even free ones.
P.S.S. Sorry for being so lengthy in my post
P.S.S.S. No offense to anyone meant
P.S.S.S.S. Sorry if i went into too much detail about my prior experiences.
P.S.S.S.S.S. Ha Ha made you look!

ugly and useless app. dont have any usefull meaning. the small icon changes clock in the systray, and the calendar after dblclick.wasing of resourses. better to use other apps, which does much more plus this functionality. and this costs money? :(((

>Sure! And how much did you spend on that pizza last night
better to buy fully functional and FULL of functions organizer/clock!
like Chameleon Clock!
it is much much much usefull than this one

#76 MacJr wrote; "A $20 clock?"

Sure! And how much did you spend on that pizza last night (or the other night)? Gee and a pizza only last one night (or two if you stretch it). While a clock lasts years and years. That is like 300 to 600 times more fun than a pizza! :)

Of course it's useful, and the fact that you can customise it to your own tastes makes it doubly so. At last, no longer a boring sys' clock, hehe.

Anyway I'd like to thank the advanced specialist for yet more useful information. I must say, I always enjoy your posts although today did have a little negativety in it, but "Cest la Vie", we're all entitled to blow off now and again, lol.

I had no trouble running this on my main system, and like the look of some of the skins. It's made me more aware of all the time I spend on the computer each day as it's much more visible than my previous clock. Unfortunately, after deleting and reinstalling the program on one of my other computers, no matter where I install it to, I always get a Microsoft error message, so will have to forgoe the pleasure on that particular computer. Apart from hardware, there's very little difference in what software I run on either, so it's probably an out of date driver that I may have overlooked. No real loss. Perhaps I'll buy that world clock sooner than I intended. :) I need to renew my Version Traker subscription, lol.

Thank you again GotD team, as well as all the developers and distributors for providing such a great variety of software; and thank you to everyone else for taking the time to comment. I throughly enjoy reading most comments and feel I'm getting to know a few regulars. Keep up the great posts.

#67 Speak for yourself mitch! I just upgraded to Windows XP on two computers just last year (from Windows 2000). And I think elprime-clock-pro is the greatest! This should have been there since '93 as far as I am concern. What's IE7, firefox, WMP 11, or Vista? lol

I can't see how this would be useful.
Maybe if you play a lot of mmorpg's and have a life, too. Yeah, right.
Also, don't use IE7, use 6 or firefox. IE7 is not good at all, just another stupid release from Microsoft for vista, such as Windows media player 11.

For those that would like to learn German, I will translate what HORST said: "Can I just say one thing, what does one find so cool, about always being the 1st to post? Reminiscent of PreSchool. And abnormally feeble-minded."

Just so you know. And can get an idea of what type of impression you draw on yourself internationally. In case you thought by doing that, you were anything other than uncool.

Very cool site! I've been looking for a desktop alarm. I get on the 'puter and just lose track of time. Just installed it and the only thing missing are more sound files. I'm loooking for the Big Ben type chime for my new 'grandfather' clock :-). It crashed once when I was playing around with the config tool setting sound types. Haven't seen it since.

GOTD - Please, consider offering your screenshots of the product so they can be clickable, for a close-up view of the screenshot. This would help immensely for those that are unsure about downloading/installing an unknown program. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Tried installing this clock program 3 times due to an error I kept getting everytime it tries to start up. It tries to run but keeps shutting down. This is both before and after I activate the registration so it's not a registration issue. Very discouraging when you think about it. I could have paid money for this software but thanks to GOTD I didn't have to. And since there is no technical support for this freebie, I've uninstalled what I now feel is a useless and buggy piece of software.

One more thing, I give this clock a thumb's up. True, it's just a clock with an alarm and you can check it for atomic time. I wish they had a buildable skin to make any kind of face one may want.

CORRECTION!!! My comment #50 is incorrect. GOTD does provide an activation code for this software. So it is free! My apologies to GOTD for my misunderstanding.

I installed it with no problems. I wanted to set it up with atomic time and discovered that you have to BUY the software to get atomic time. What GOTD is giving you is 30 day trial software. I now "get" GOTD.

To #19. You can adjust the settings ya know. There's a 'Disappearing' feature that you can edit. Make it disappear...or not. That's why it "Disappears" when you hover your mouse on it. And there are other skins that come with it too if you're not satisfied with the default. Ya ungreatful, picky bastards. Yeah that was plural.

I've been coming to GAOTD for a few weeks now and like about 1/4 of the software. Some of its great software, but I have absolutely no use for it, and hence I don't download it out and then "save system resources" and also the time it takes to d/l it. Some programs I feel like wow, to get this for free is a real steal, though others, like todays, it makes me wonder how the heck the company stays in business and who would be dumb enough to buy something like this. Either way GAOTD is an amazing site and even if i only download 1/4 of the software it still is amazing.
