An AI-powered object remover for videos and images.

Direct WAV MP3 Splitter is an easy-to-use and very fast tool to split or cut MP3 and WAV files. It allows you to quickly split large files without recompression and quality loss and save the results into new files.

The program also works as an automatic MP3 splitter. A build-in audio player lets you listen to audio files (with adjustable speed) and then split them with automatic track numbering.

You can automatically split MP3 and WAV files into equal-sized parts (using time, size or number of parts criteria). There is also an automatic silence or pause detection feature.

With the help of Direct WAV MP3 Splitter audiobooks, podcasts, ripped CD audio tracks, audio tapes etc. can be split within seconds! You can view the MP3 file using wave graphics and set the MP3 cut points easily.

#76 "Bobby the K", this site DOES simply make activate.exe part of the download. You just can't find it. Do you know how to unzip a zip file? You can't tell your unzip program to run the file, you have to save it to disk and then use the unzip program to look at the contents and unzip it. Either that or tell it to open to your desktop. Otherwise you're never going to find readme.txt, the one with easy one sentence instructions, or activate.exe, the one used to register the programs.

This site already makes the whole process very easy. You only have to know two very basic things: How to use the unzip program on your computer and how to follow simple instructions. The site's not responsible for teaching you those things, you are. Spend some time reading the help files in your unzip program to learn how to use it properly. Look on your computer for a program called "Winzip" or WinRAR" then open it and RTFM! That means read the help file.

Lapin #72, slow server response occurs from time to time and therefore second postings seem warranted...take a couple grains of salt

Awesome program (and I just installed with 6 minutes to spare)! I know there are other freeware out there but thanks to some of the comments and reviews here I realized this is just the tool for my mp3 player that can't do bookmarking. Now I can split up those looong audio/podcast files into 3-minute tracks with a couple of simple clicks. Great offer GOTD!! I'm a new but permanent fan.

Can't find the Activate.exe file a poster mentioned - where is it?
Why doesn't this site make it easier to find these codes and/or simply make them part of the download?

I agree with Kevin/#59. This is a brilliant idea and a very good business model, it's a "win-win-win" situation, all parties involved win. If you don't like how much you win, just move on. Simple as that. I agree there could be more variety and that screensavers aren't that appealing (to ME, I'm sure there are people who love them), but then again, like someone said, your "beef" is different than my "beef", there's NO WAY the folks at GAOTD will make everyone happy every single day (which is why I think more variety could be beneficial). Having said that, I for one am enjoying the "wave" of audio related programs right now, because that's exactly the type of software I've been looking for. If and when there comes a new "wave" of another kind of software I don't personally need, I'll be fine with that and think that other people are finding benefits in that.

So, yes, get over yourselves people, and learn a little gratefulness. Or start your own websites and try to please everyone all the time, see if you can do it. ;-) Or just move on...

This works for the most software. But some have hidden activation keys you can´t find that easy. Use an uninstaller to protocoll all activity of the installer and activation.

#54, Maybe he meant he had 400mb worth of audio files, and put all of those audio files into one file.

Sometimes it's a good thing to think before insulting someone, or telling them to get off of "your" internet.

As for todays software, I don't think i'll be downloading it, I don't see the point in splitting WAV or MP3 files, thanks anyway GoTD.

This is Spectacular! When you're the owner of a national Sports team like me, you need something to split those long audio files for a good majority of players who take those long bus trips with just their laptops and high tops, ROTFL. It helps pass the time. This is the perfect thing to split those files and re-organize them into tracks for the players.

Great job GOTD and devs! Rock on! WOOT YEA BABY! YEA!

Agreed, for this particular and very specific purpose today's program does a better job than Audacity as there's no conversion/reconversion involved. Yes, there are freeware programs that do the same but this one's free today for anyone who is also here today. If you get here after today check out the freeware alternatives already posted by others.

#24 Jason says, "just because a nag’s free, it’s still a nag."

Sure 'nuff, but as least these programs can be tried without a nag screen. Don't like 'em, no troubles, just a quick uninstall. But at least no nag screens and no features disabled in the meantime.

#15 Kevin & #21 Bear Bottoms, oh yes you can reinstall and it doesn't violate anything since the terms are only three: No free tech support; No free upgrades; No commercial use. Sorry, can't post a how-to here but search and learn as Google is your friend.

#15 Re-activation (Provided you had activated before the expiry day of GAOTD software download) ...
Run regedit (if you are brave enough to venture further) and you can find the registration code of whatever software installed both or either one in HKEY_Current User/software/name or/and Hkey_local machine/software/name, just export those keys as (name).reg to your personal folder. Later, when you re-install, just import (name).reg back or just run it as it will pop up whether you want to install or not.

BTW, thanks GAOTD and keep up the good works.

#24... a "Nag" is a good thing if you don't own a horse at all ;-)
Perhaps it's time to step away from the computer for a few days and get back in touch with reality? it's free software for a day... big deal lol and as far as the "first to comment" thing....
Does being #24 make you smarter than being #23? or #1 on the comment list? doubtful... but it's an interesting fantasy I suppose lol

#24-Jaxon....you got this right. These people don't even belong before a keyboard. I think the smartest "GAOD" would be a link to Google.

#32-You have a 400 MB audio file and this doesn't seem strange to you? I guess you have no idea what an audio file is. Please get off my internet.

of course, with AUDACITY from audacity.sourceforge.net, you can record your iown album and much much more...(see my website listing)

I downloaded this program and compared it to one of the freeware programs, MP3DirectCut. For ease of use, at least in my case, the Direct WAV MP3Splitter was hands above the freeware program, mostly because I figured out today's download with relatively no problems, and I couldn't get the freeware program to work. I'm sure it does, but I like to be able to look at something and figure it out after messing with it, I hate looking at manuals. I probably won't use either program, but my son, the audiophile, will probably love this giveaway.
