I then proceeded to clean off some unnecessary icons so that my family could more easily locate important business web site icons that Desktop 3D has now made obscure-appearing. I got the icons off, but when trying to refresh desktop to rearrange the remaining ones, nothing happened. I decided to switch back to my previous, normally-used desktop. Desktop 3D is interesting, but if it's going to cause problems, I don't need it. I downloaded/installed it on my XP SP2 desktop with no problem.
