I downloaded and installed it, but it keeps saying it is not registered, even though I followed the registration process. I’d really like to be able to use this program.

Addition to my post,
I converted a .rmvb file to .mov file, in a whim. But after that, when I played the converted .mov file on Media Player classic, the sound is gone. I played it on GOM Player, same result…sound gone.

Got it. Tried with *.* and it worked.

Got your message. It is confusing since both of you are using David as nicks.

Conclusion: Danuisoft Media Converter works in converting .flv, .avi, .rmvb files if you put *.* in the “Add” sequence. It makes one wonder why these are not as supported formats. The only reason I can think of it that these inputs formats are not tested. But the conversion works from the single files that I had tried (.flv, .rmvb, .avi)

I do not have a .mov file, so did not try that.

But I tried with a .rm file (realplayer)and it does not convert.

Well cool software but unfortunately it doesnt support avi conversion for some reason which renders it almost useless to me because my video only records in avi lol works well with other formats though

K i still haven’t figured out my last problem about the registration key being required. Also I’ve noticed then when i convert songs it limits the track length to 1 minute! That’s useless!! Anybody else having this problem? How can i fix it?

It worked for me to strip the DRM of iTunes songs.
Just make sure you RESTART your computer when it tells you to.
I did not do this the last time GOTD gave this, which caused the software not to function properly.

Got it installed after multiple tries, only worked (Vista64) after installing as Admin.

Will I be able to upgrade @ the discounted $19 price after this giveaway is over? Tomorrow or a few days from now, perhaps? Or do I need to do this right away, even before I get a chance to see if this works or not?

I did not purchase the pro version.

I typed in the file name e.g “pts. of arthty.mov” and converted to .wmv, succesfully.

I enjoy seeing what GAOTD provides, and this software is a genuine gem.

Nice little program. It converts files really quickly. My only problem is that it wont take very many input types.

I bought the Pro version back on Nov 20th.

I’ve used the program a LOT – excellent stuff. Strongly recommended.
