To: Damian (#161) in #153 I wrote that fix didn't work - my mistake! I missed the last digit(5) in the string you provided when edited Registry and then I can confirm what you wrote in #105 well,.. for those who want to keep both: thanks to Damian now you know what to do :-) actually it is just simple script to write and run before starting each prog. This software is not able to convert simple audio tracks (.cda) into any format unless I missed something. I have tried everything.

It's AWESOME!, has real-time editing unlike some programs that only let you preview but not edit while previewing at the same time. Even though I have Vista it did have some problems registering some .dll files, which only popped an error window and never opened the program, when it did, I couldn't import songs to edit. In that case, I recommend the program is installed in SAFE MODE, well that worked for me, importing wasn't a problem later on.

Using this program in conjunction with a couple of others yeilded some good results for my current project. As an add on developer for Microsoft Flight Simulator,audio editing software is a necessity. Thanks GAOTD !!

..so far - it's so good! Has more features than Audacity, but the equalizer doesn't work... - still, a thumbs up!!

#155 Steven Thanks for you're comment. No special tool used - just digging around in registry with regedit. #136 TK - right on the ball they use the same SDK. All three programmes are basically the same just with a different GUI. If you have CoolRecordEditPro stick with it. It has the same features plus more over CyberPower Audio Editing Lab. If you want cd burning built in then Sound Editor Deluxe would be best but then you lose some of the other features CoolRecordEditPro has (and you probably already have a burning application). So even if these are not being given away today for future reference I'd recommend CREP over the others in the future. For anyone who may have missed my earlier posts regarding losing CREP's functionality due to installation of CyberPower please see posts 97, 100, and 105 Happy Downloading!

VERY nice! I installed it, opened an existing wav file, trimmed some dead air at both ends and saved it as an mp3. Neat, clean and intuitive. This is an application that just about anyone will be able to use.

Just the kind of sound editor I'm looking for but this version just doesn't work on my XP/SP2 but once. I get an exception on each start now : AppName: editinglab.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: kernel32.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 0001eb33 Any clue ?

ok i could not get the Cyber Power Adio to load i keep getting Error. Nothing wrong with my cpu for @12:15 am i was able to download the Watermark program with eas. Please assit with the sound program i was looking for a good sound program for my 17 yr son.
