For me this soft ware works great! I can capture anything on youtube, including MP3's and videos.I have to go through a site that pulls down the FLV then I convert itwith this program. Easy and fast. Thumbs up !

Thanks!
Incidentally I had a problem that this software solved right away. It is the only converter that made the job of converting a 16:9 video to ipod without stretching it. For some reason even quicktime pro did not convert to ipod correctly, on this particular video file I was fighting with.

It converts them "from one format to another"...as opposed to doing what. Converting them into diamonds and gold perhaps?

I'm so dumb... I downloaded the software and I saw the licenses key pop up after the download but I figured that we were already getting a registered product and the key was popping up.. just because... Is there anything I can do to get the license key or am I just SOL?

Installed and activated fine on WinXP Home SP2.

Lauching the program I can an error message: Acess violation at something something address. The program works though when I dismass that error box. But it's annoying.

I can't get it to convert a .mov that is a 'lower third' with alpha transpanacy even though I do have .mov chosen.

It works pretty well in converting other things though. I was using a program that I thought was supposed to be free-Prism, but after several months Prism decided that it could only output in one format -.wmv unless you pay to 'upgrade', so for now I'll be keeping this converter.

My main annoyance with it is the GUI...it's 'Mystery meat navigation'. The user interface totally sucks with a bunch of funky icons that it's hard to figure out what they are/what they do. This program *really* needs a more standard and user friendly UI.

I will be keeping it around until I find something better, mainly with a better UI and better support for converting Quicktime.
