Hi, "Cloud System Booster cares about your PC tenderly.." - Aaah, and (no doubt) ..will restore much needed poetry into my PC (one heck of a messy brat that is, according to a notion of any such Booster:) - by gently caressing my Data.., carefuly stroking file by file.., lovingly lifting what needs to be out..

Ah well, time to leave this (Cloud) Cuckoo Land and look closer at harsh reality what this Software might do to your machine if you're an unexperienced User, especially - if it's "badly written"! (by accounts of those who experienced BSODs when using it, time after time..) I echo what Others are saying: Generally it is much safer to stay away from "One-click Wonders", they usually spell misery sooner or later, if not on the spot!..

Looks like this Software needs a lot of TLC itself:) before it starts.. loving your PC??

Update to my previous comment: Tried the registration link given in the readme file again at 9:30 pm and there was a whole new webpage. I received the License Key on the screen in less than a minute and it was to be sent to my email as well. Thanks!

My wife installed this program and was absolutely thrilled with the speed improvements on her Lenovo Windows 7 64 bit system. Specifically she noticed significant improvements in Firefox's speed. She told me about it and I downloaded it. Ran it. No problems on my computer, also running Windows 7. I didn't notice any noticeable improvements, and as others have said, I don't really know what all changes it made, so was concerned there as well. I never received the email with license and when I went back this afternoon, their website notified me the license offer was no longer valid.

Ok, now for my wife's computer, remember how great it was early this morning? She shut down and we got some shut eye. Getting back up, she has yet to be able to boot into Windows. It just sits there and hangs and hangs....and oh, did I mention it HANGS? If anyone has a solution for a Lenovo that won't require a factory restore, any information will be appreciated. As for me, as soon as I finish this comment, I am promptly uninstalling and going back to the trusted apps I've been using successfully.

Maybe the adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies here?

All - opinions is what 'optimizers' are all about. And the 1 click wonders are the worst in that you are given no 'opinion' on what is important to you. The program has an 'opinion' of what is a system hog and what is not irregardless of what is important to you.

This being said, I installed this program and, on it's own 'opinion', it decided that several programs I use regularly were (as they really are) system hogs and it selectively killed part of their processes and even some of the programs such that they no longer work. For example - I can no longer run Windows Live Mail as, it being a hog, this program provides it so little resources I get a "too little hard drive or memory space" error and I can not now run my email system. Even after deleting the 'cloud booster', the email will not run. It came pre-installed on my system so now I have to figure out how to repair it over the internet (IF I can)or lose all my email.

I used Tune Up for years and never had such problems. Cloud is out. Thumbs down from me and be aware to others about 1 clicks and/or software that offers it's own opinions.

Good evening

In fact, I recommend the following:

1. take the time daily to do this:

a) execute
b) at prompt, enter

%tmp%

c) then

CTRL A
(select all)
d)
DEL
(delete all)

Eventually, some files will now allow deletion. Ignore them.

in addition, download and install the excellent Glary Utilities.

It will do everything for free.

I have downloaded and utilized so many programs that claim to do all these 'weird and wonderful' things and I feel like I have tried a bazillion. Once again Giovanni at #11 has listed Kingsoft PC Doctor Pro; (it has an Antivirus that very recently became freeware)and once more it reigns supreme in comparison. I do not have any affiliation with the company or its software, just one of a million 'arm chair' reviewers.
Thanks GAOD

Cloud-based, user supplied data? Really? I'd have to trust the opinion of uncredited anonymous ppl to mess with my system? What if my mother is in this cloud... Seriously, sweet as she is, she'd destroy the internet.
Passing. I'm not into one-click solutions, they're empty promises.

#11 Giovanni - The link you provided for the Advanced System Care Professional is NO GOOD. Oh, the link works, and after TWO email confirmations(?), they send you a license code, which FAILS the online check. Thanks a lot. Uninstalled.

Neither thumbs up or down from me. Optimizers scare the hell out of me. Quite a few years ago, I tried (and trusted) Glary Utilities which I know most people like - but I destroyed my system back in the days when I was using XP. I trusted that their defaults would be safe and perhaps I shouldn't have. (Never again!)

David (hubby) is a software designer and developer and doesn't believe that "optimization" in and of itself is worth the minimal boost you only might receive.

As for the six month subscription. I rarely will consent to this and definitely not for this kind of product.

Thanks anyway GOTD.
