Yet another program here that will not run on Vista!!! I’ve been only visiting here for about two months and I’ve yet to find a program that I both want AND works in Vista. Why don’t they post some programs that work in Vista???????????

Software requires .net framework. No mention of this on their web site. Have both 1.1 and 2.0 of .net frame work installed, however the software does not start. Error about incorrectly configured or missing items and to reinstall to resolve. Reinstallation does not resolve. Listing all the requirements is a must. As some can run it, and some can’t, clear listings of what is required would help everyone.

No download version on web site. GAOTD visitors will be able to look at the software and try it out, everyone else will have to buy it; poor marketing scheme.

Doesn’t work on Vista Ultimate 64-bit OS. :( I really wanted this one to work too.

I downloaded this earlier and just had the chance to test it out. I found it to be very quick to figure out how to use this program and it creates a good watermark on the image.

I like the ease of being able to select one, or more, image(s) to add watermarks to, and as an artist who enjoys sharing images of what I create, it is at least good to know that I have the option of easily adding a watermark to multiple images fast and easy. I have tried this with GIMP and find BIW to be a good easy way to go, I will be keeping it on my computer and give it a thumbs up.

Tried to install on Vista Ultimate 64-bit as did # 28 and got the same message.

Copied from #28 so you don’t have to scroll up…
“An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details. The error is: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.”

I did send the report to them so they can see what is happening.

Guess that means a thumb down,

This is the third watermarking program I have downloaded from GAOTD. The other two are WinWatermark and Bytescout Watermarking. After working with all three of them, this one is okay, but my favorite is still Bytescout.

For the person who mentioned that with this one you can’t see the whole picture, try the “stretch to fit” feature. The whole picture can then be seen, as it is in the screen shots.

Every time I try to run in I get an unable to contact giveaway of the day servers, try again later. Anyone else getting that?
