I downloaded and registered this within the allotted time frame and everything seemed to go through smoothly but i seem to have the 15 day shareware version and every time i open the program im confronted with a banner asking me to "try the pro version" and i thought this was the pro version as advertised. The program looks like it might be a handy & useful proggy to have in your set-up but i wunt know because ive got the 15 day limited shareware version that will run out in 2 weeks so its a big thumbs down from me.

Like many here have said, This is excellent software. Works perfectly on Vista Home Basic. Not sure what's up with the comments about it being tricky to register, if you've ever bought software before then you should already know how. To all those asking why they should need this product, stop and think about what you are asking. If you don't know why you would need this than why would anyone else. Have to say a big thank you to Lokas Software for providing the Pro version instead of the Standard. Normally software such as this type usually gets a lot of negative comments, but todays comments prove that if you provide quality software people appreciate it. I will definitely be recommending this software to others (I'm a Graphic Designer). Thanks GAOTD and Lokas Software, this is why I check this site out everyday! Is there any chance that I'll see 3D maker here?

#50, I had the same problem registering; tried even cut n' paste and typing in info from Readme and the other supplied number; so, I just kept clicking the entry, knowing I was right, and it registered.

I share #111 opinion. I had used old version few years ago and it was great until I found IcoFX. Today I've installed this one and had to delete it almost right away because of: 1. no possibility to maximize working area; 2. too many small freaking windows (if I want it I can always download GIMP instead); 3. no possibility to switch off "skins" (whole app looks like little kid's drawing); Sorry, even if an application offers great functionality, this interface is killing me. Not matter how good your car is, if it's pink (with yellow dots) I will not drive it!

A keeper for me. I was looking for a good icon editor to create icons for my programs, now I found one on GAOTD. A big thumbs up.

Hi Struan7 #97 Thanks for the tutorial site..I missed them totally. That's a big help for those of us that need some help. Love this program even tho I'm not an advanced user...yet. Re: registration: put the curser in front of the < symbol & paste in the info then just delete the symbols and words(username & key) & enter. It may take getting into & out of the page several times but keep trying. It does work. Downloaded & installed easily on Vista home premium 32bit. Now with the tutorials I should be making icons I actually want to keep in no time!

This ones a "keeper". I've used many different icon creating apps and this one is certainly easy and has lots of options. Great going!

When I downloaded the program, it came as a .exe file so there is no zip file to unzip which means there is no .txt file to open. This means that I can't register the program. To bad as I like the program.
