Okay, further to my previous comment, I have now found Blu Ray under the Data option and ISO creation under Tools, I was looking at the options under Video.

I must be missing something, some of the key features I looked for were Blu-Ray, HDVD, ISO creation etc. and couldn't find those and some other functions as stated in the authors comment:AV Burning Pro is a powerful disc suite for burning CD/DVD/Blu-Ray/HD-DVD media, copy audio CD & create ISO images.

cheers - cable

#12. To do what you want, you need a video editing /authoring program. After authoring, you can use a video burning software so that it will work on DVD player. Google "Top 5 free video editing software programs".

Thanks Rob (#7) for doing the homework. There are 6 hours left in this giveway so share this with your friends. I normally do not post yet in reference to avmediasoft and any other software it is imperative for us to be vigilant regarding the integrity of the software Developers and their products we put on our systems. GAOTD gives us an opportunity to test software but it is up to us to be aware. We have to ask ourselves if we want apps from developers that post info that does not match reality as Rob has pointed out. GAOTD cannot make *sure* software is reputable or safe, that is our job. This site is a great way for small developers that have their heart in the right place get an audience as well as very slick operators trying to push their wares on GAOTD and us. There is excellent info to be read here @GAOTD. Good practice before every install:

1. Not only make a restore point but use ERUNT to back up the registry exactly as it was (which restore does not do) in case a program or Themida messes up. Research: https://larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/

2. Use a highly rated AV and firewall like Avast and Privatefirewall with 2nd and 3rd opinions like MBAM, Emsisoft & Superantispyware. Download the VirusTotal Uploader and right click an .exe or file > send to > VirusTotal and get a report from 42 antivirus engines as well as a right click url checker. A good Firewall will not allow any transactions unless you ok them and train it to allow programs.

3. Last but not least on Firefox (IE is still not as safe). addons:
Research: Adblock Plus and important subscriptions - https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions
CsFire, NoScript, Cookie Monster, Priv3, Click&Clean and/or Better Privacy to clean "supercookies" that never go away

Charley #12 ok the simplest way to show photo's on a dvd player is to burn a DATA DVD, Make some folders first on your hard drive, give the folders names to suit whatever types of pictures you add to them. say Family Photos or Holiday Photos, whatever you like, Jpeg format is best for photos and standard AVI for movie clips, Why? because the vast amount of dvd players have these two Basic Formats.

When your completed data dvd is loaded into a home dvd player photos don't usualy show first the dvd players will most likely show a menu of
the folders you created on the disc, now use the remote control to enter a folder and select photos to play 1 at a time or as a slide show depending on the dvd players features.

Wondersoft and a few others have software to make photo disc's with fancy background's and menus something like College Studio.
These software create a disc with menus and most have a photo Album look to them, the good thing about them is they load up automatically like a movie DVD with on screen menu's etc.

AV burning Pro can create your Data Dvd's if you want to choose the First option i mentioned first = (the simplest way).
P.S. some dvd players and set top boxes even some TV's now have USB ports, you can add photo's on a USB memory stick and view your photo's through these device's onto your TV.

Thanks for the software. Have several short videos lasting less than 30 minutes and hated wasting a DVD, like the option to burn to CD.
Charley just Google or Bing your question "My burning problem is to burn pictures on a cd or dvd and play them on my dvd player on my tv." You will get several answers like this http://www.ehow.com/how_8195265_copy-photos-cd-watch-tv.html

My burning problem is to burn pictures on a cd or dvd and play them on my dvd player on my tv. they will never play. i am the custodian of all of our family pictures, big family, and take the dvd’s to other peoples houses when we have family functions and most of the time they do not play. i have used format factory but never sure which to select mpg etc. will this program burn so i can play thru a dvd on the tv and what should i know. thanks for any comments.

If you are playing the disc on a home dvd player this program will not help you since it does not author the files. "format factory is nothing more than a converter. You need a slideshow creator software like Wondershare Slideshow Delux. Once you have created the slideshow. Then, you will need to use an authoring software to convert the video file to NTSC or PAL. It will depend on where you live as to whether you need NTSC or PAL. PAL is mostly for Asian nations. You can see the list HERE.
