Well, im running XP with accent to performance, so installing Aston shell just took some more RAM resourcess. Uninstall in Explorer shell was without trouble. It looks nice though, some features i really liked. There was another downside - it messed up my USB ports - had to renew them completely.

you win. whatever you think you are winning you win it. I admit you are the better man. I'm sorry. I will now hang my head in shame and admit defeat. you a person I've never met, never will meet and I care nothing about and you care nothing about me, has infact made me feel small and insigificant on the internet.

I shall now go and try and become a better person.

Oh, look. Khai is proving how a jerk acts!

The "screenshot" does absolutely nothing to prove that you are in 32 bit color mode WITH animations or transparencies in Aston.

Also, the screenshot does absolutely nothing to show what video card you are using. It really looks like a composite shot, anyway; something you made up in Photoshop.

Also, even if the pic were real (which I doubt - exactly how much does Gladiator Software pay you?), it does NOT show Crossfire, Viveo OR even Catalyst running. It clearly shows Windows Display Properties and NOT any advanced ATI software.

You demonstrate your own desperation with your idiocy, not that the quotes taken directly from the software provider's website, or the desctription above also provided by the software provder are incorrect.

Nope, all you've proven is how a jerk acts. Your choice of foul language in place of factual discussion has been noted and a formal complaint sent to GAOTD staff.

"Kai, apparently you know nothing about the Windows video system or how 16 bit and 32 bit color mode work."

actually I do... and it's running in 32bit.
lets see.. running on ATI Catalsyt - check. Properties report... oh look 32bit.. want a acreen shot?

as to the multimonitor support if it does not support it.. how the fuck am I running on 3 monitors - without 'hacking into windows and Aston'? all I did was CONNECT THE MONITORS AND RUN IT.

I am done with this. I am currently doin what you say it can't do... so... sorry. I'll stick with what is working and let you guys spread the lies.

For those insiting that Aston has actual multiple monitor support - directly from the Aston website -

"Well, for some time now multi-monitor support has been a major feature request for Aston, but as yet, there is none, though it is a priority for a new version. "

Seems pretty definitive to me. One has to HACK into Windows and Aston to get even a smidge of actual multiple monitor support. As Aston themselves admit in the postin above, there is no actual mulitple monitor suport, just hacks.
