Hi.

I've played this game and I can say I found it to be quite good. I love the fact that add-ons can be bought (not only won). Thanks

I spent quite a few hours playing this game and am very pleased with it. Just to address some of the comments above. From Paul. who didn't know how to save a game. I couldn't figure it myself at first; however once you've placed your name in the save slot DON'T click on EXIT as this actually cancels your save. You have to press the enter key for the game to be saved. With respect to Vipers information. Yes do read the last few lines of the read me as it will in a roundabout way tell you that the game is indeed already activated.

Advice on playing this game:
Uncheck the disappearing bricks check box so that the bricks dont disappear at a certain level. They can then act as a barrier to save your ball at times enabling you to go for the blue pyramids (and yellow, however the blue is worth 5 as opposed to the yellows 1. This is definitely one of the better arkanoid games. I actually downloaded the demo several months ago together with lots of others after finding a site that specialises in reviewing these games. I remember not being impressed initially with it so never played it again. Sometimes that's a big mistake.

Number 18. I also had the problem. I deleted the entire game, downloaded it again. When I set up the game I did not go play until I rebooted my computer. Then I played the game for the first time and I had no problem. There seems to be problems with this game.

I've been a collector of Arkanoid games for quite a while now, having spent in the region of £400 (~$760) on them, and I don't think one penny has been wasted as I've had lots of pleasure out of them. Although the graphics of this game arn't spectacular as one commentator said above, the game play is actually quite original for an arkanoid clone. The scrolling screen for each level alone will give this game unlimited gameplay possibilities as each level is massive. Although the idea of buying your power ups isn't new, it's a fun way to play the game, giving you some control over what you can have with respect to power ups. You can even buy more balls to ensure you get through the game.
Just an aside; some of the nicest graphical arcanoid games are actually rather poor when it comes to gameplay, which for me is much more important than how it looks.
As far as arkanoid games go I'd give this a 7 out of 10 which means I would purchase it if I had to. I've seen far worse (and have some) arkanoids that have cost a lot more than the normal price of this game, so even if I hadn't got it free i would have purchased it gladly.
