are you serious? Do you really believe your antivirus program knows that this is a dvd ripping program??

While I appreciate the direct feedback to my concern, I gotta tell you, you have no clue!!!

Your antivirus program doesn’t “know” anything. It compares code lines. That’s it. It has no way of knowing what “type” of program is being scanned. Just what do you think is actually going on in your pc??

I’m sorry but that whole idea is just ridiculous.

May I suggest that you google HOW DO ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS DETECT VIRUS’S

Downloaded and installed fine. Had to pause AVAST antivirus to get past the false positive alert. Used code from REAM ME file in Zip to register. Tried to rip DVD to WMV. Selected all desired options and all seemed to be going well until approximately 2/3 of the way through the rip (Slow ripping)it set off audible alarm on PC. I ended program and alarm stopped, checked event log and found nothing so I tried to rip the DVD again only to get the same alarm. Not sure what to think of this error.

Has anyone been able to rip a full DVD yet? Mine gets 5.4% and that stops. I posted this before but it was erased, perhaps because something else seems to get installed when you install this and GoTD dont want it posted.

This is great. I’m always looking for good rippers and burners. This one’s on top of my list. and that Software Informer seems helpful but i’ll have to look into it further.

Well I use Avast Antivirus and it just won’t let me install this program at all. I really have appreciated all the great giveaways in the past but I guess I am out of luck anymore. Thank you for being a great site. I have figured out a way to run the program but I won’t share it because I don’t think Aplus would like that everyone could do it. I didn’t do anything illegal but I don’t want to make any trouble either. Thanks again for all the great software over the years.

Installed on XP PRO w/SP3.
I registered using the user and code provided in the readme file however the register botton remains and it is yet active.
Is it really registered?.
