@ #27,

Kathy, tried everything you said to do, even with trying to get help from your website, the program still won't work on my Vista. Have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same program crash. I do a lot with PDF and want to use this program. Maybe I will find one that does work with Vista.

It preserves text content, page layouts, images and hyperlinks accurately. And the PDF to Word Converter plays well in converting encrypted files. Thanks GOTD.

PDF converter installed just fine (after I finally got the
correct instructions :)

I had to uninstall twice.

OS is Windows 7 - 32 bit.

I put a document into the converter... it cranked for a wee
bit then, gave me an error message.... and stopped working.

As someone wrote... Windows 7 is being released next month..

Thank you for your comment.
This program converts PDF only to HTML. Our PDF to PowerPoint will be released within 2 weeks. You can keep an eye on www.anypdftools.com for details.

To formatters (comment 55)

Thanks for your great advice. Actually, supporting Windows 7 is under our consideration. Our PDF to Word has been already updated to support Windows 7. At present, PDF to HTML does not work well on systems of 64bit. We will consider improvement on this according to customers' demands. Please contact support@anybizsoft.com with any further concern. Thanks!

Thanks for your comment.
We are attaching great importance to the underline issue. Our developers are working to improve it in the next update. If you have any question or concern about our program, please contact support@anybizsoft.com. Thank you for your attention.

Comments from Ashraf (#1), Allen (#21) and G (#49) cover most of my conclusions about PDF to HTML Converter--especially the underline problem and separate spans for every word. (If there is some rationale for formatting the HTML source this way we haven't heard it yet.) It's good that AnyBizSoft seems interested in resolving these issues, but I wonder why they are depending on GAOTD users to tell them about two obvious problems that are happening to most if not all of us.

Also, a handful of bookmarks were created that have no apparent rhyme or reason and no connection to a TOC or bookmarks in the original PDF.

On the positive side, I really like the simple, elegent GUI as well as the toolbar and navigation tab added to the output. An option to leave out these added elements would be useful in some cases along with suggestions from G to optionally remove headers and footers and allow text to flow continuously. This and reducing span tags to at least the paragraph level would result in HTML that would be much easier to feed into other tools.

For anyone who didn't notice, this converter and AnyBizSoft's PDF to Word converter are both on sale today only (9/15) for $9.95 each exclusively for GAOTD users. Given the above issues, I wouldn't purchase these tools at full price, but at $10 each I'm going to take a chance that AnyBizSoft will continue to improve. Otherwise I might keep these installed because they're free, but feel left out if the issues are resolved in a future version.

Finally, I would like to know if PDF to Word and PDF to HTML licenses can be converted to a single PDF Converter license since PDF Converter is basically the Word and HTML converters combined with the free PDF to Text tool.

For Mike>Yes Vista it is soo bad because the reality with Vista is bad for peoples, because they complain.Reality with Xp is easy life because everything is at maturity.Vista was created and not touched maturity that appear 7.For Vista is no time like for XP.Problems are not what i like, problems come from money.Microsoft want to make more money and peoples in condition of crisis, can't adapt to buy every year or at two years a new s.o. and is simple,if you can make everything with XP why to buy a new s.o?Only because is more beautifull?.
