Looks good! I had no problem setting it up or downloading videos with OS 10.6.5. I'll have to learn more about how to use it, but one drawback so far is that it doesn't remember its window size/position. It starts with a fairly tiny window on a 1920x1080 monitor and has to be manually resized each time. Also, I prefer a per-download dialog for where to save the video, rather than having to set a single location in the prefs.

Thanks for a good Mac app!

I am so happy to see a giveaway for Macs. I have a new iMac which I purchased because so many friends told me Macs are so easy to use and have far less problems. I can't even figure out how to burn a DVD slideshow to watch on my computer and/or TV. I also find it very difficult to find/get free software for my new Mac to help me do things I love to do. If anyone here has any suggestions for good, and possibly FREE software for the Mac, and/or a good Forum for iMacs, please let me know. I would really love to find a good program to help me make a DVD slideshow with pictures and video clips which is easy to use and can edit the video clips and burn to DVD. Thanks for any help!!

I've got to update my last message- I found my problem and it wasn't this software. It was the Yazsoft Speed Download plugin (latest version). I removed it from my Internet Plugins folder and now this application runs fine. Either this program doesn't handle plugins properly or Yazsoft has a bug in their plug.

Very disappointed to find that it crashes just after launch every single time. I have a new MBP with SL 10.6.5, 8GB Ram, Core i7. It's a pretty clean install, no other problems. Apparently two other commenters got it to work somehow but just after the main window opens and it starts connecting to YouTube it crashes. I tried turning off internet access and it still crashes just the same. What a disappointing waste of time!

Well, it works good on my computer. But before i used like to get a free video converter, like handbrake, formatfactory. And i usually download the youtube video with SnowFox YouTube Downloader HD, it also works pretty well on my computer.
