Ladies and Gentlemen:

It's not that often these days, to come across a program that performs just what it claims it will at the out set! All of us here have felt the sharp pain of righteous indignation and plain old pissofftitude after digging into a new program, that had promise to deliver to your PC, the ability to teach you 7 new foreign languages of your choice , and to burn a complete and absolutely pristine image of your OS, for later enjoyment!

Our developer today stated at the top: "Almeza MultiSet – Leader in Unattended Installation of Windows and Software! Want to create a Windows installation disk or USB Flash Drive that will automatically install the OS Windows without asking questions about username, product key, time and locale settings?
At the same time your favorite applications are automatically installed, the necessary keys are entered into the registry, drivers are updated, new patches (service packs) from Microsoft are installed. It’s possible and you can do it easily with Almeza MultiSet.
Almeza MultiSet will automatically install all the applications you require, either onto your original computer or onto a new one. It’s an ideal solution for rebuilding your systems quickly!"
From what I've found, by testing the software myself, Found that today's developer has delivered on each one of his claims!
This program is straight forward, and one particular aspect that I came upon, was the program's powerful Uninstall feature. MultiSet performed a very thorough job of uninstalling a program that I had targeted. I'm very happy with today's offering, MultiSet!

Excellent little program, I don't see where is the confusion if it says very clearly that you have a wizard if you want to copy the apps only, the OS only or both onto a CD or a flash drive.
If all your apps are at Program Files then you just copy the entire folder which means you are copying your 70 odd apps, right? If your 2nd computer has no OS than you copy just the OS from the 1st computer, right? Simpler cannot be, of course the GUI is very old fashioned and the price is a joke, beyond ridiculous but for someone that needs to re-install large amount of apps is like it says in the introductory cartoon, let Multiset do the work and you go play golf.

First off , I am as guilty as a lot of others that bitch about this and that here.
You know after thinking about it,what is there to be upset with?

People say, We need this program to do this we need that program to do that. We need it to be portable , we need to be able to transfer all of GOTD software to other computers for all eternity. What is with that?

GOTD offers software FREE.....Read that again, FREE.

Don't want it, don't download it. If you download it and use it and don't like it then come back here and say why. This isn't your supply of software for life.

Why would companies want to give up all they make for free forever?
Think about that. I did.

There are things I like here and lots I don't. Some I don't need, and work fine, some work like crap. It varies with peoples needs and the company offering the product.

So think before you make some of the ridiculous requests and demands of these companies. I will. Remember they don't have to do it at all.

This program has its place. For a very narrow specialised use.
Most of us do not need it.
We do not have 10,000 new computers to set up, install OS, patches, etc... before selling them.

It is not meant for full backup of single PC.
Acronis or similar software does that.

It is not meant for transferring contents of one PC to another newer PC.
Laplink or similar does that.

Though it is a powerful software, for me it is useless because I do not need it.

Hey 38 and 40, if you do image backups of your hard drive, all the programs and the registry and Windows are all in the backup. This is what MANY backup systems do, and 99% of your installations will work afterward. No need to whine about "compatibility seems to have vanished". Paragon is my preference for WIN7, but GHOST and others are OK, fine for older Windows.

A very few programs do more than plant activations in your registry. If they read CPU serial or BIOS version of the motherboard or something, a hardware change may prevent those programs from surviving. But this is generally only in very sophisticated software, expensive stuff usually. Also, note that drive assignments can be different in a new hardware setup, interfering with path assignments for shortcuts and program locations.

And of course Windows itself can object to the new hardware... although it usually copes if you are in WIN7. Windows may ask to be re-activated after a significant hardware change.

I have visited this site for some time and i am quite pleased to see this Giveway offered once more. I originally took this offer back in 2007 and used it with my Vista machine. It worked flawlessly for me and was a great asset to my home systems. It has always been malware free and has not caused any direct or indirect problems on my system. Now again, I get to enjoy this program on Win 7 x64 without any adverse effects. This is a trusted program and I would recommend this to anyone. They do have a version that is for home users that is cheaper than the $99 price tag that they have listed here.

If you CLONE your hard drive in addition to BACKING IT UP, you will be able to return ALL the information on the HD, including the PROGRAMS.

Go to PARAGON and you will find an excellent CLONE program, and some of the 'net's best programs (free and paid).

Just be sure you clone often, because if you're not ALSO backing the HD up, and it gets a virus, etc., you're screwed when the HD crashes. The CLONE clones everything, including the virus, and it will simply put the virus back on the HD when you try to recover information using it. So, I keep the last 3 clones on my 2T back-up drive which gives me a chance to keep my programs the way they were BEFORE I allowed the virus to creep in.

I want to let Macs PC (Mike) know that I appreciate his post (currently #29) regarding "Developer bashing". There is NEVER a time when RUDENESS is to be tolerated. I am ABSOLUTELY AGAINST CENSORSHIP, but I make an exception when someone posts RANTS, being so RUDE to the developer here.

Mods, please consider taking a second look at the necessity to allow posts whose only purpose is to be RUDE to GOTD, the DEVELOPER, or another "MEMBER HERE".

I can only assume that your parents had no idea of what simple courtesy is, and therefore were unable to teach it to you. Now, how does it feel to have the RUDENESS returmed to you? SHAME ON YOU.
