fubar was right about xp and vista. It makes this software redundant.

I don’t think that Version 1.1 was quite ready to be released from beta. Although I haven’t used all features of the program, so far there are two that I find most annoying: all names of titles and artists which have (‘) apostrophes are replaced (shown) with (~) tildes. Anyone know how to fix this problem (changing the font is not the answer)? The other issue is assigning or editing a genre. Typing the first or second character should locate the genre, but it does not as the field is locked. Scrolling through the (non-alphabetized) list is awkward and time consuming. And having 16 lines instead of 8 in the dropdown box would be nice too.

I downloaded and installed this program twice and it failed to run both times ,says it needs admin rights and the program will now exit. It ‘s just not worth it , I’m sure that those errors were just a glimpse of the future with this one. I’ll pass on this one.

Installs effortlessy under Win2k. Although it requests a reboot and obviously stuffs files in the windows system directory it works out of the box (e.g. reboot).

Does not require administrative rights as opposed to vista variants (according to reports in here)

During a short testing it appeared like a nice media indexing utility. After scanning directories containing media files in a configurable list view fashion and presents the informations included in the mp3 tags.

Its advertised album & lyrics detection and fetching works but is error prone and has little room for the user to select the best option if there were any.

Users with a large collection of audio could benefit from the program by helping them to plunge through the mass while still offering basic playback options.

Dissapointed this software is limited to only 100 songs unless registered! This site admin needs to check the software closer, either the principal of a give away for the day applies or not.
As I host a link on my site advertising Free software, I am concerned I am in the position of false advertising which in my country is illegal. This site is awesome for developers and I am sure they could be enticed to submit only full software.
Here ends the rant.
