It's designed for linear editing, not conversions, but it will do some conversions and create DVDs. It can also be used to extract the unaltered (except for any needed error correction) contents of WTV and DVR-MS files. VideoReDo is designed to correct the numerous errors which often occur in DVR recordings. I always recommend using the latest beta. If you don't have a license, you'll get a time-limited trial to see if it meets your needs. If it doesn't do the conversion you want, you can use it to extract the contents and run that through another converter. Using the shift key when selecting Options will bring up more options (similar to the way that Shift-Right-Click will bring up more options in Vista and Win7 Explorer). Aiseesoft has a very large selection of presets, but as always, it depends upon whether it has the presets for or is capable of doing the particular conversions which you want. Unlike most converters, it has decent WMV support. CUDA has been around much longer than Stream, and nVidia has vastly more software support than ATI, so CUDA support in third-party utilities is far more common than Stream support.
