It seems to me that you have some sort of axe to grind with someone, but I strongly advise you to be careful about making any accusations that you can't substantiate. I openly admit that I'm an online marketer - I've never made any attempt to conceal that fact. I consider myself to be a professional at what I do, and as such I make every effort to ensure that I'm constantly in compliance with all rules and regulations that govern my industry. If I deliver a testimonial in praise of a product or service that I'm financially interested in, I'm required to disclose that relationship at the same time and place my testimonial is given. I'll be the first to agree, however, that a very large percentage of other "marketers" are often in violation of that rule, and when you find them, you should call them on it! For all I know, you may be right about "shills" posting here - "trolls" are just about everywhere that comments are allowed. However, have you considered that it just might be possible that the reason that Aiseesoft receives such a high ratio of up/down votes is because they actually produce decent products, and that they also treat their customers - and potential customers - with courtesy and respect? And if you have a problem with the the way this site is operated, nobody's holding a gun to your head to visit it - are they? If anything, reasonable people might come to the conclusion that if anything, you might appear to have more of a hidden agenda than Aiseesoft or GAOTD! However, unlike you, I'll make no attempt to even guess what your actual motive might be for posting what you did. And to all of you video "purists" who are complaining about the fact that this software doesn't accomplish some semi-advanced function or another, please keep in mind the intended price point, and more importantly, the target market - which is consumers who have multiple video devices with varying resolutions. They couldn't care less about splitting frames - they just want to be able to play the doggone videos on their smart phones! I noticed while playing around with this software that the number of options for output formats is simply mind-boggling, with formats identified by individual brand and model.
