120… Quintessential Media Player is what I normally use. It has an EQ. Most media I’ve tried have one.

Well, I am pissed…I dl this program at work yesterday but didn’t get to try it at that time. Today I have it up and running and this is great…Everything I need to know on one page.
Now the reason I am pissed is I forgot to dl on my home computer and this is what I really needed at home. As I have 4 hard drives plus all types of media, graphics, music, etc.
Hopefully this will come around again….great program.

Thank you Crabby Gabby, Big Thunder1 and Anon for your suggestions and help. When I get my confidence back, I’ll try them. I have an e-machine that didn’t come with an XP install disk. It only came with a recovery disk that wipes the hard drive and reinstalls factory programs and settings. I was stuck on stupid yesterday, but finally figured out how to post to forums. Again, thank you!

Nice program. Most everybody needs a dual-window file manager. And it is good to have more than one, for comparison, for mixed features, variety.

Total Commander seems to be a type of shareware that keeps running, so it is excellent to try. Very workable with many plug-ins available (including a (pdf) filter that might be worth checking out for the person discussing Foxit and Adobe above). Hhas been my main file manager for some years. explorer2 lite and salamander are decent freeware, good but not super-special, I keep them on the side. DOpus is very popular among the techie-set, but is not cheap.

Accelman is definitely a viable candidate in the shareware/purchase realm where the programs are uneven. So having it installed for free is nice. And there is no rush to upgrade to new versions with file managers.

All in all an excellent choice by GAOTD.
