The player plays video a little dark, so a little hard to see. I like the simple interface, but I recommend reading the help file first for Quick Start. I would have preferred a different interface. I like the way it records at a speed faster than real time play. I need mpeg4 files in the .avi extension. At low resolution, which is quite viewable, it rips at 3-4 speed real time play. When converting .vob to mp4, it is converting only the audio, but not converting the video and showing only green zigzag lines.
