I try to convert a Karaoke DVD from Pioneer but no mather what format I convert to there is no sound so back to the old way inporting analog
Anyone any sugestions?

I tried this and it just converted only first .vob file and popped up saying job is over.
Very sad.

It is very bad, when I start to rip, the program crashed. I have tried Movavi VideoSuite which has may functions such as Capture video from your digital and web cameras; Convert video to run on any mobile device;Split and merge video files;Add filters and special effects;Rip, backup and copy DVDs;Burn data, audio, and video CDs and DVDs;Create classy video postcards;I realy think it is much better than A-one DVD ripper.

Hempman got it right – this is crapware of the worst kind. Claims to do things it can’t. Very poor at the things that it can just about do. Pity the poor goons who actually paid for this.

#78: As #38 you used the term “change the file name”. As #78 you write about “rename a file name before it is even created”. It puzzles me how someone wishes to rename (=change) something before it is even created. What I think you meant in your review is that you could not set the file name when creating the file. That is indeed a flaw in the software under consideration. But please formulate correctly when you mean. Otherwise you get misinterpreted.

I downloaded and installed the program with no issue (the registration info will pop-up after install, if anyone’s confused), and then used it to rip a 21 minute special features thing off of one of my DVDs.

It only took like 6 minutes, which I found surprising, since my usual DVD Shrink + AutoGK mix usually takes roughly twice as long as the video I’m ripping. So I open the file it made… and the video is tiny, the sound is not good, and it cuts off 6 minutes and 28 seconds into it.

Personally, if I’m going to go to the trouble of ripping something, I’d like it to look and sound nice, and to be complete. I’ll be uninstalling this program now. Thanks for offering it GotD, but it’s not all that it says to be.

Information please.

I have a 4 minute DVD. I installed this software on Vista. It rips very fast until it reached 96% completion. Then the program stalls. I have tried several times with the same results.

Can somebody share why?
