This isn't software that I have worked with in the past, so I have really little comparison other than what I want to achieve. This looks simple and extremely approachable. I especially like that it will produce a *.exe file as well as the usual flash, HTML and ZIP output. I would need to work more with this to see if it solves the age-old issue of flash presentations on Blogger (Blog Spot). All this takes time to sort out, but from what I see, the developer is eager to help and provide solutions.

I quite like this flash tool. Being so easy to start working with, it will be easy to get up to speed and re-explore what I used to do with pure flash programming. I don't have the patience for that anymore.

So all in all I have only good things to say about Flash Video Gallery... a great introduction to flash presentations without that HUGE learning curve (Adobe Flash took me about 5 weeks to master). I highly recommend it.

But I do have a question for anyone out there who might be able to clue me in: If you have ever watched some documentary where the only visuals can be illustrations (perhaps even from the period aka before photography)... there is an (unfortunately) overused effect where in the presentation the visuals pan around the illustration to various details which depict aspects of the narration. You know what I mean: 1) here's the hunter ... pan left ... 2) here's his prey.

Any recommendations out there for simple software to achieve this effect ?? (and with an output favorable to including in a flash video) ... Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

In the meantime, I'm going to have some fun with this excellently approachable software.

Downloaded, installed and registered with no problems on my W7, 64bit machine. Clean GUI, easy to use. I haven't had time to make a masterpiece but I had no problem making a little sample and it displayed fine. The coolest thing is that I can plug the swf files into my video editor.

@47 - You are missing something. The software you received from here YOU ALREADY HAVE. Why would you 'fork over' anything? Other vendors regularly offer savings on their other products just like this company. They do this because when you see how good their software is (and this software does rock!) you may just be inclined to purchase another product and become a loyal customer.

Now - The Software - This software is so simple to use a cavemen could do it! I have had NONE of the problems that others are experiencing. I have Win7 Home Premium w/4GB DDR3 running Intel Pentium P6100. This software is very quick and does exactly what it is supposed to. Very nice looking templates. No discernable loss of image quality. Does eat up memory though and caused a slow-down until I told Process Lasso to give it High Priority. Now runs like a champ, but causes my Aluratek Internet Radio to cut in and out while it is running (and only a short time, as I mentioned this is fast!). Output is clean, vivid and does not 'hang' as others have mentioned. This one will remain in my arsenal even though I will probably only use it 5 or 6 times a year (birthday and holiday updates of the kids' pictures). Two thumbs up from Plainfield, Indiana!

I have tried their Video Converter and have had great success with it as well, but in that arena I will stick with Aiseesoft (it is slower than theirs, but quality is sharper, the size is smaller and it NEVER creates drag or sync issues).

Running on Win 7 64.
A good program if works.
Several time it crashed immediately after adding music. Many times crashed even when loading large number of images. There is a bug that is not let me to see the usefullness of this program.

I really can't understand the negative comments as the program took seconds to download, the registration code arrived in seconds, and the program worked first time perfectly. So what is the problem?

I can only assume that some people are using different browsers ( I was using Internet Explorer) and some people don't read the instructions ! as you do have to in order for it to work.

Ok I downloaded this about 6 hours ago, got error message on the registration code, sent email to kevisoft over 3 hours ago and still no email with the registration code??? How long should I wait before uninstalling???

This is ridiculous!

Installed fine on Win 7 Pro 64 bit machine but when I went to run it, my task mgr. shows it running but I see no application on my desktop. Even tried switching to it as task mgr. shows it running, but nothing visible to see that this program is even running.

Then it opened your website for the keycode request and your site is telling me my email address is invalid (yahoo account) yet I was able to email a question to your support address using that exact same address.

Come on people. Not quite ready for prime time, it appears.

Registration key appeared immediately. I think this is a lovely little program. Only problem - the help files don't seem to be available, it tells me to reload the program. I don't want to do this in case I lose my registration, so I'll just do the man thing and press all the buttons to see what happens!

Installed quickly, registered with no problems, works great! Simple and intuitive to use, can't wait to use it more, only did one quick project to see how it worked and everything was very easy. Thanks for providing this software!

I've played around with this for a little while today. It's boring and the amount of features are so limited it's actually not worth using. 1- you cant adjust the speed of the automatic picture gallery. Unable to adjust any animations. One can make a better presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint. Pity you cant use powerpoint as a flash player.

How long does it take for the registration code to come through?

2 hours now and nothing, not even in the junk mail/spam.

Downloaded and runs fine on Vista 64, followed instructions in the read me file, when installing got told to visit their Home Page, inserted my e-mail, and the code was issued straight away under the log in box, no waiting for an e-mail to come through all done from their home page. Had a quick play about with 20 odd photos, very easy to use nice presentation of finished item, will continue to use this and might even think about upgrading later on, they have some nice software on their site and worth a look, download and enjoy.

Still experiencing the problem with the Fullscreen button. I have not received any answer from kvisoft either here or on my email. I installed Adobe Flash but it didn't make any difference. Still getting the slides on the bottom right corner when pressing fullscreen.
Maybe I should stick on Giovanni's suggestions to get something similar for free...

Thank you for this great offer today ! It installed and registered for me with no issues. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit. The program works easily and perfectly for me. I was able to get a nice little flash video (with music) done, in about 3 minutes. I will convert the .swf to Mp4 to post it online. Nice little program. It does what it says, easily and quickly ! It's a keeper for me. Two thumbs up !

I have the following problems:

Problem-1
After pressing the Autorun, the photo comes blurred / grainy and then it comes to focus (i.e.looks sharp). Every other photo has the same problem, which is rather annoying and looks cheap. Is there anyway to eliminate this annoying blur?

Problem-2
In publishing, even after pressing SWF button, it gives HTML codes!

Prob-3
Then, I prepared an .exe file. When I clicked on it to run, after the first photo, the second photo has a little ring of circles, and doesn't load - similar to the experience one has trying to watch a video with low speed internet.

Can Leo suggest how to overcome these problems?

Loving this - brilliant - took me all of 1 minute to compile umpteen videos. I should take a look at the PDF Bookflip - bit pricey BUT!!!!!

Downloaded and installed easily, registration was easy as well. BUT, huge disappointment in the finished project. Created a flash gallery using about 100 photos, and added music. Nice templates..but when I published it either as an swf, OR an exe, OR even a project file.. got same problem on playback... always runs about 5-7 photos only, and then sits on pause.. each time.. though the music in background continues to play. Also a total hog on resources. HUGE waste of time... and a HUGE disappointment. Win7, 64bit.

Every time I attempt to run this I receive an error message:

Any ideas as to what the problem is? BTW... their other software offered earlier (Flip Book Maker) had the same problem...never could get it to work.

This programme is lovely. I also downloaded Kvisoft FlipBook Maker from another giveaway and it worked with some issues, you had to load to create exe files at least twice. It seems to me I am experiencing something similar with the presentations. When you try to make them bigger the slides hide on the bottom right corner instead of keeping centered. I'll contact kvisoft to see if they can solve the problem. I'll tell you how the story ends...

As to GAOTD user rating system, software providers should consider and utimately get aware that no thoughful user will give confidence to any rating as "creative" and "miraclously" produced as is the case of this offer. There are good resons to believe that those "miracles" are simply produced by software providers (when thumb ups are ridiclously inconsistent with the movement and opinions on the foru) or their competitors (clicking thumbs down).

The market is saturated with a lot of commercial and free competitive software and careful users have a wide choice. WHAT MATTERS is not the number of clicks, but competent reviews, credibility of the provider and provider’s input to the forum.

I simply DO NOT BUY clicking thumbs ups or downs at all!
This is my first and the last comment in relation to the rating issue.

However it would go a long way if one could embed youtube or vimeo videos, which could be done easily within Flash. There are plenty of youtube galleries in Flash out there but without the nice feel and templates as this one.

On running the installer, ESET Smart Security warns me of a potential threat: "a variant of Win 32/InstallCore.BC application potentially unwanted".

Trying for the past 4 hours to watch the demo's on their web page but Kivisoft.com is not responding. What a waste of time. Hopefully something better will come up tomorrow.

Richard (#5) - The user ratings (thumbs up and thumbs down) has no relation to the user comments. People can click the 'thumbs up' and still post a negative comment, or no comment at all. The thumbs up / down doesn't always directly relate to the software either, but whether people are after this software. An example might be a screensaver - it could be the best screensaver in the world ever, but would still only receive 12% positive ratings, and people always downvote these.
