It is a nice software for beginners who want to copy their blu-ray movies to another blu-ray disc.
Download and run fine on my desktop Windows xp. Use my own name to register the software. Successfully copy my latest blu-ray movie "Prometheus" to a blank blu-ray disc. And play well on my blu-ray player with my TV. I try the full movie and I think if you choose main movie to copy the time will shorter than the full mode.
so thumb up to today's giveaway. Thanks GOTD and Aiseesoft for providing a nice software for free. I will keep it.

Thanks GAOTD and Aiseesoft. I collect many Blu-ray movie discs. With this copy, I backup two movies on the blank disc and movie effect is great.So i can backup all and the collection cannot be damaged any more.

Download, install and run smoothly on my windows 7 ultimate 64bit.
Try two of my Blu-ray Movies to copy. One to a blank disc and another to blu-ray folder. The result is acceptable and copy speed is a little faster than other software that I used before. BTW I use the main movie section to copy, I just need to watch the movie and do not want others on the original disc. Generally speaking, it is a nice software for blu-ray copy beginner and it is easy to use and has a nice interface.

Thanks GOTD and Aiseesoft

It looks good and have downloaded it, but as I don't have a bluray drive in my system at present so I can't really test it out. but it's a keeper.

perhaps you should have been here when one of the many recovery programs from easeus or paragon was offered. You'll never need to do a full install from sites again. I personally use acronis true image to do the task.

Many thanks to Aiseesoft and GAOTD for another fine program. Installed without problems on Win 64. If people no-vote without good reason, software manufacturers will think twice before putting their programs on GAOTD.

Following on from my previous post, interestingly when I used a Aiseesoft Blu-ray Player it DID recognize the disc. Why would another product from the same vendor (Aiseesoft Blu-ray Copy) fail to recognize the presence of a disk in the very same Blu-ray drive?

Installed and activated on 64-bit Windows 7 system without any problems, but when I attempted tried a test copy it refused even to recognize the Blu-ray disk. ... Uninstalled pronto!

To Mukhi (#23)

I had same problems as you did with DAPlayer. I did pick up the MacGo MacBluRayplayer during one of the GAOTD giveaways several months ago and found that unlike your situation, it worked fine for me with no problems, when used on either OSX or Win7.

Unfortunately I had a crash and lost my Windows copy, so I bought the Windows version online. Although I don't buy BR commercial titles the day they come out, with the ones I have tried, so far MacGo player is the only one that works for me on every title to date.

My only complaint (and I guess it is really a desirable complaint to have) is that they update is VERY often. I seldom go more than 2 weeks w/o notification of an new version (both OSX and Win seems to stay at the same version numbers).

I have even found an unexpected benefit to this player. Besides the BR disks, it will play just about any other media file too, and can be called from the command line (or by file association) unlike the Aiseesoft Blu-ray Player offered here a few weeks ago.

@Giovanni
DAPlayer does not play commercial blu-ray discs. for example, it did not play despicable me, alice in wonderland, etc...i mailed them about it and they said sorry!
there is another player called macblurayplayer which sometimes appear in GAOTD does not play commercial blu-rays either.
to me, there is ZERO players in the market that plays blu-rays for free. in this regard, my vote goes for cyberlink powerDVD, worth paying for it.
anyDVD is the best BD/DVD decrypter in the market, it can remove protection for ANY disc you want to without failure.

however, today's GAOTD is good, as long as no new protection appears!

To copy any DVD/Blu-ray use DVDFab HD Decrypter
To play said ISO copy of DVD/Blu-ray use DVDFab Media Player (this is free and will play ISO images with FULL Disk menu, just like a real DVD/Blu-ray player)
If you want to compress to a H.264 use Handbreak on a mounted ISO or use HaoZip to extract the m2ts.

All are free and work great and produce the best results. Period!

Thank you Giovanni again for your breakdown of great alternatives.

I don't care what any naysayers say, Aiseesoft makes great software. I have preferred their programs since I found them. The only shortcoming of obtaining them free here is the inability to reinstall them after a reformat or drive failure. I wish this would change, because if they give it away and we claim it, we should own it. This software is pretty good, despite needing a few features. It DOES do what it says. As a user who has tried several paid DVD/Blu-Ray ripping and copying programs, please take it from me, Aiseesoft has one of the best user interfaces while still being just as technically advanced as other software, such as WinX programs. The clean user interface is what wins me over. It also seems to work fast than other software, at least on my system. That may not be true everywhere. At least give this a try before thumbs downing it people. And don't just thumbs up it for the name either, be an honest voter!

Love this software. It's my go to software. It's not the fastest but it is easy to use, and the codex appear to be standardized. It offers adequate settings to optimize your output quality vs size, and as said above it is upgradable when you buy it. I've had mine for 3 years and use it regularly. My son is 5 now but still destroys his DVD's on a regular basis. Having bought 3 copies of Findin g Nem o this software pays for it's self and at 50% off I recommend it.

I don't know if it is me, but I have to say that I am beginning to find this website just a little bit BORING, what with constantly coming out with various companies' versions of the same old programmes. How many different versions can anyone use, for heaven's sake?

What about some new, exciting programmes -- software that we can't find so easily (or for free) out there on the Internet? Programmes that do things we didn't even THINK could be done, or at least do them a lot more easily and conveniently.

It's getting tedious, logging in almost every day to find yet another, similar programme. Okay, today's actually copies Blu-ray to Blu-ray, and I am sure a good many people will find that interesting -- so maybe today is not the best time to voice criticism. But in general, I for one feel things have been going downhill -- and if GAOTD does not get it's collective finger out, it will find it's "readers" leaving in droves.

Sorry to say it, and I'll probably be voted down for it by a good many people (probably those more new to the website) -- but that's my tuppence worth.....

I won't download/install this because... I don't have a Blu-ray device. Nevertheless, I gave it a thumb-up because I have a lot of other Aiseesoft products offered by GAOTD in the past months and every one of them is a gem.

Well, I was able to grab a lifetime and upgradable license od this GEM on another site a few days ago....and what I can tell you is woh...great software, does what it claims without any hassle!!

Can even copy a 3D Blu-ray movie with the original video effect to another Blu-ray disc: so it's definitely a must have tool if you are a fanatic of blu-ray movies!!!

The only problem is that you can't use this GAOTD if new blu-ray protections come into play in the near future, unless you pay an extra charge for the upgrade of course!

For this reason I think that a FREEWARE solution could actually be a better choice for you especially in the long term (but if are eager to pay an extra fee for the upgrade of this software then let's go for it....).

* DVDFab HD Decrypter
This GEM is an amazing FREE all-in-one DVD copying & burning software, which can remove almost all DVD protections of a whatsoever DVD & Bluray Disk and then copy your DVD/Blu-ray video to the HD of your machine at very high speed. It can copy either full disc or main movie, enabling you to specify your preferred output audio track and subtitle, as well as change your DVD playback order.
Why is it FREE?? Nobody knows that...but honestly who cares?? LOL!!

http://www.dvdfab.com/hd-decrypter.htm

* Aurora Blu-ray Copy (==> Giovanni's new entry)
Easy to use brand new FREE APP which enables you to clone your entire blu-ray movies collection making perfect 1:1 backup copies, by making and mounting ISO images to a new disc.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/Aurora-Blu-ray-Copy.shtml

* 4Easysoft Free Blu-ray Ripper
Pretty old but still good and reliable FREE app designed to convert Blu-Ray movies to various video/audio formats, as well as merging several clips into one and previewing the output video. It also supports iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPod, iPod Nano, iPod Nano 4, iPod Classic, Apple TV, PSP, PS3.

Input video formats: Blu-ray Disc, DVD files, MPG, MPEG, MPEG 2, VOB, NUT, MP4, M4V, TS, RM, RMVB, WMV, ASF, MKV, AVI, 3GP, 3G2, FLV, SWF, MPV, MOD, TOD, QT, MOV, DV, DIF, MJPG, MJPEG

Output video formats: MPEG-4, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, MOV, M4V, etc.

http://www.4easysoft.com/free-download/free-blu-ray-ripper.html

* DAPlayer
Breakthrough Blu-ray DVD HD videos playback for playing high-definition videos, like Bluray, AVCHD, TS, MKV, MPEG4, H264 video formats. Supports any commercial and homemade Bluray multi-track video/audio and subtitles, and can also be used to decrypt and backup blu-ray movies (compatible with BD+ and AACS protected Bluray) so as to play them from your hard disk and even from your virtual driver.

http://www.digiarty.com

In case the above FREE GEMS were not unable to remove a certain stubborn Blu-ray protection, just try this FREE (PORTABLE) GEM, which can remove any copy protection from Blu-rays (AACS) keeping the Blu-ray folder structure, original 1080p video, original menu, as well as the original audio/subtitle tracks.

http://www.bluraytoavi.com/blu-ray-decrypter.html

Or use this tiny tool:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/Blu-ray-Disc-Ripper.shtml

Then to shrink your ripped Blu-ray with all menus and extras, just use this magic FREE tool:

Finally, if you own a huge collection of blu-ray movies and you are eager to organize them like a PRO, this nice online app does that and more for FREE:

Enjoy!!

Here we go again with Aieesoft. Sub-par software at inflated prices, fake comments and a manipulated voting system. Every time. On principle alone, I would never try their software, much less buy it. It's a shame that GOTD, an otherwise great and trustworthy site, allows this.

Great pity that this crashed on loading. I've tried reinstalling a couple of times but each time I try to load the program I get the message that it has stopped working.

My computer is up to date with the latest drivers. Running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit with 16GB of memory.

Oddly I was just looking for a decent blue ray copier as well (as opposed to a ripper) so that I could back up my Blue Ray collection directly to Blue ray discs as opposed to storing on external drives.

This is very disappointing.

Does anyone know of a freeware/open source version that can copy then transfer directly to Blue ray discs?
