To all those people who had the same problem as me [messages 63 &64] I followed advice given by Charles [22] & emailed Wondershare support team. I got a quick response with reg code attached. Now have full program.

I agree with Emily what they say at the top of the page is nothing compared to what you get ,,it reminds me of that commercial wher that little kid is trying to ride her bike but she is not allowed to get out of the little painted square on the ground I think it is an investment commercial...but the funniest term used above is,,"Try to make this Easter more fun and impressive with it now!" ha you can't with the download they give you ..I belive this was a very manipulating scheme,bait and hook for sure It really does now make me wonder LOL where they thought up the name wondershare,,you have to wonder what they will share..anyway no more wondershare for me ..but I think GOTD,,should protect there self from scams like this..

i downloaded it 10 Minuts before its Up :(((((((((((

I downloaded the software before the offer was over. I had 10 minutes left according to GAOTD. The Wondershare site is saying the offer is over. It won't give me a keycode.

I had an older version, so now I don't have that anymore either.

It seems that GOTD's timeline and Wondershares don't match. No email from Wondershare either. Best not to wait til latenight as i did, you might miss out.

It installed and "activated" just fine, but the keycode webpage says "promotion over". I've downloaded this and have tried to get the keycode. Apparently the midnight time limit on this one was for some time zone other than the west coast where I am located. I've tried three times now with no luck. The webpage says "Sorry, this promotion has been over. But we still offer you 10% off for this product to appreciate your supporting. I just attempted to receive the keycode for Wondershare Photo Collage Studio from Wondershare's website, but received the following message, even though it was more than an hour before expiration of the offer:

What kind of screwed up marketing department does Wondershare have that can't even get the expiration of the offer time correctly?!?!?

Apparently the vendor is in a different time zone than you at GAOTD :-(

I downloaded the software. Went to register it and it said the promotion had expired.

I waited too late? I downloaded, followed instructions and it said that the offer was over, but it was still 11:23? Sad.

I have installed the program and the activation shield runs and advises that it is activated, but when running the application it still needs me to register. Not a big issue as this is what is mentioned in the readme. I try to get a keycode and on the website it says "Sorry, this promotion has been over. There is still over 30 minutes left of the offer, so much for that then :-(. Maybe next time I can get it :-)

GOTD is still giving the software for another 53 minutes but when I try to get the registration code, it says the giveaway is over. They should end at the same time GOTD ends ...

Noticed that the paid version has 281 templates and is 29MB download compared to GAOTD's bloated 52MB. Free templates and upgrades in future are worth to me for a small $15 price (+6% tax).

Installed on XP PRO SP3. After install, which was uneventful, the program would not start. Went to the website and downloaded the GAOTD install program from Wondershare. Installed that version. It would not start either. Useless!

This is the first and only time I have ever had an install problem with Wondershare and I have installed almost a dozen previous offerings from Wondershare through GAOTD.

Disappointing! Uninstalled. Thanks anyway!

clicked on setup.exe and Trend Micro Pro popped up and said it was trying to modify IE. I use FF as default and IE for other stuff. Did not proceed and while I was reading comments it did something anyway. Don't want anything modified. Can't find it so now I have to look at registry. I have some of the add-ons for FF that others have said cause this to fail install so think I'm going to pass.

I installed and registered it, and created a test page. When I tried to print, the program crashed. :(

I'm using 64 bit Vista Home Premium.

I have always loved Wondershare programs and have several "keepers" on my computer, both giveaways and paid programs. I even recommended this one to some friends before reading all the comments. Sadly, now I will have to email them and withdraw my recommendation based on the fact that it does not include all the templates since that was why I recommended it in the first place. Sorry, this is a loser. I expected better from Wondershare.

How do you download the free templates mentionned? Maybe I'm an idiot but it seems to me that the only to download the templates is to first download the trial version. What a rip-off. They advertise something but it's all lies! Very disappointed...

You make it sound as if we're a bunch of greedy, lazy bums. I personally don't appreciate your attitude.

What Wondershare is doing here with this latest offer is not in the spirit of the GOTD community and feels like a bit of a sale attempt.

Have to say that I am grateful for GAOTD for all that they do... And if a "cut down" version is whats on offer for evaluation thats also ok with me... But I WOULD expect a company to be honest about that and not badge up a cut down version as a full version. Disingenuous marketing always makes me distrustful, especially when you want me to install software.

If I dont feel I can trust a company to be honest about whats coming onto my PC I cant afford to risk giving it hard drive space... So in this case I'm afraid I wont be downloading, as I simply dont trust Wondershare in this case, and wont in future try any programs that appear in here from them.

Everyone installed fine and registered fine. However, when I run the program it switches me over to my administrative account from my standard account. Normally I run in a standard account. So then after I exit the program I have to log off and go back to my standard account.

I have never seen any program do this before.

I am using Vista 64.

I had an older version of the program and it didn't do this.

i updated from the previous version GOTD gave away and when i clicked on the collage it only had like 20 templates. can someone help

Seems to me there's enough about this with the grammatical errors, the limited templates, the bait-and-switch sorta tactic to get people to buy at half price...and the slow interface to make me go back to Ashraf's site and check out the alternatives he mentioned also. But I'll give this a chance. After all, we've ALL got an "uninstall" button

I will not download this as I have no need for it but I wanted to chime in anyway and say that I have been running two of their other programs, Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder and Wondershare Photo Story Platinum, for quite a few years now and can say that both programs are of excellent quality and the experience with the company has been beyond excellent. They update their programs quite often and offer free content and templates on a regular basis

FYI to all the people who want free templates:
You can search for "free quickpages" on the internet, and those will work as well. Just save them into the wondershare folder (as .png format) with the other templates.

To use it, choose 'create blank collage'. Pull the quickpage into your editing window. Click on "Set" at the top of the editing window, choose 'transparent background', then lock the layer. Then you can pull in your other photos and use your layers (on the top right) to push them behind the template.

I tried it and it worked for me! Good luck! :)

I just upgraded the full version and there is no more new added templates to it. They are still the same old ones that came with it.
And it's not a lot of them. Not much to play with.

Bad moving around in it, slow, bad interface, the upgrades are nothing ever to add for the user. no added clip art or templates or nothing. this company has done nothing to upgrade it software. They have a support but It's as it was run from some back office they never use any more.

They just lost out on the upgrade from me. They wanted to charge $3.50 for me to use Paypal! So, I cancelled the transaction and am very disappointed with the company for trying to do that.

I do NOT give my CC or ATM number to anyone anymore after having to cancel it to stop charges from one company who added some monthly fee to the payment I was attempting to make.

I have to say I love the Wondershare products. Very easy to use and very user friendly. I'm looking forward to testing out this update. I make a family calender every year using this program for the picture collage and then use word for the calender pages.

I have tried to download this four times now. Both from the main link and the alternative mirrored site. None of them will open up. I get an error saying they are invalid files.

Anyone else having this problem or have a suggestion for me to try?

I'm offended, too!

I come here every day expecting free stuff. But, I don't get everything I want. I suspect I only get the previous version for free much of the time, rather than the most recent, most expensive version like I deserve. Who do these developers think they are? I'm supposed to get everything handed to me on a silver platter whenever I ask for it. That's my constitutional right as a visitor to this site. I often get up early in the morning and come here just to see what gift I'm being offered today. It takes a whole couple of seconds out of my all-important life to click my bookmark and wait for the site to load. And, after having spent so much valuable time getting here, I only get a less-than-absolutely-the-best-offer-possible handout!?

I'm seriously thinking of having my fat-cat lawyer sue you and the site you're coming from. I hope the FBI, CIA, SPCA, MADD, PFLAG, AAA, AARP, etc. all investigate you and put you in your place.

Some help re Templates and Frames if you haven't used the software before. In the folder path near top left, select Frames, then choose one of the folders. The frames are shown lower left where you can scroll and double click to select them. If you just use the wizard you might think there are only 16 templates! In fact there are nearly 200.

The extra $14.95 if you wish to pay it (normally$29.95!) buys more of the very fancy template frames!

Sorry registration page does work. I run the Firefox No-Script add-on and I had to allow scripts on page for it to run!
